Kate stared blankly at Adrian, utterly clueless about what she should do. She was lead outside like a puppet until they nearly reached the lobby when she suddenly snapped back to reality, violently jerking her hand away and breaking free from Adrian's grasp.
"Don't touch me!" she yelled indignantly, but she turned her head away upon meeting Adrian's gaze.
"Alright, Kate, don't be like that," Adrian said gently, glancing at a few people passing by in the corridor before taking Kate's waist again, "This is a public place, after all."
Kate, with her head bowed, muttering to herself, made a few attempts to push him away, but her resistance was half-hearted. By the time they walked out of the corridor and into the lobby, she was still held tightly in Adrian's embrace.
Reaching the door, the attendant had already brought over two cars.
"Is that your new purchase?" Adrian asked, looking at the red Lotus "It matches your outfit today."
