Chapter 259: Unavoidable

At the bedroom door, Adrian stood in a ludicrous women's nightgown, smiling cheekily at Kate while holding a tray with two cups and some snacks. Suddenly, the scene before her overlapped with some images in her mind, and Kate felt a sense of dizziness that left her completely bewildered.

"I thought you might be hungry, so I called for some food," Adrian explained, placing the tray on the bedside table, "The delivery guy probably thought he was at some gay's home and ran off without even taking a tip. I don't blame him, it's my fault for wearing your nightgown."

He sighed, looking rather helpless, and Kate almost laughed out loud. But she quickly recovered and stared at Adrian expressionlessly, "You were supposed to have left, weren't you?"

"Left? Why?" Adrian sat down on the bed, asking with a tone of surprise.
