Chapter 1

I felt warmth as I lay there in the dark, after what felt like days of feeling nothing. It felt nostalgic, yet unfamiliar. I lay surrounded by the darkness with this new feeling, wondering if I will feel something else. I was not disappointed as I felt a cool sensation that lightly washed over me gently, but not removing the wonderful warmth. feeling this I grew excited, an emotion which seemed too long since forgotten, a new color arouse from the darkness white, along with memories of what seemed like a dying world with massive buildings. As the memories came back I remembered everything about the dying world and its knowledge, I was right everything may look beautiful and fine on the outside but. the earth is crumbling and there is no hope of survival.

As memories subsided so did the white light instead it was replaced with a lightly tinted orange color, the cooling sensation became a light breeze it brushed over my skin ever so softly. I slowly open my eyes to see a vast clear blue sky, unconsciously I started staring at the sun, strangely it didn't bother my eyes. Instead, as I squinted ever so slightly I saw the sun at the surface level as the boiling flames chaotically whip about on the Molton surface.

Finally managing to take my eyes of the sun at what felt like hours I slowly sat up, it felt easy, as if I was light as a feather. as I looked down I saw grassy hills for what seemed like hundreds of miles, I stood up looking down to see my body as I have no memories of who I am or what I am, meeting my eyes pale white skin yet it glowed like the moonlight. I looked male but as I saw the long white hair I went further down, see what resembled a clam I realized I was female, even though it felt off it didn't bother too much as I decided to look around my surroundings more closely.

After confirming that I was safe and what my surroundings were I sat down crosslegged, recapping in my mind the dark forest behind me with the plains below. my tail started slapping the ground in thought, I notice that I had a pearl-colored tail with crimson spikes running down the middle of the tail with a sharp end that was also dyed crimson, also had wings that were twice the size of me when fully stretched out totaling in six feet, consisting of the same color scheme. Knowing that I am not human I knew that this was not Earth as there were no signs of civilization for at least thousands of miles I confirmed when squinting my eyes, there was what looked like a city from the dark ages. There seemed to be panic as people were currently running about in a frantic order, after my conclusion and gathering of thoughts I decided that would be my first destination, of course after I see what I am capable of as I am no longer human.

Walking back into the gloomy forest I felt at ease despite the look of the forest, like I was at home. as I walked further into the forest the trees got bigger, more curved and twisted. the smell hit fast it was unpleasant at first but immediately grew on me and starting smelling like strawberries, I wiped the drool from my mouth, that unconsciously fell. The trees grew darker a light brown to almost black, it was clearly pitch black due to no sunlight reaching through the trees yet I could see just fine as if it wasn't pitch black. Reaching a clearing I saw bodies, countless bodies, shriveled up, like dried raisins some of these bodies had silver armor, while others wore white robes with golden strands laced into the white robes. As I got near one of the bodies I saw blood flowing from the body making a trail, to a massive tree in the middle that look like darkness incarnate. Realizing all the other bodies had blood trails leading to the same tree, taking a step forward to the tree the inside of the trunk started to slowly open.
