Murphy's Law

The moon was starting to come up over the small village, when a loud crash could be heard coming from the nearby games store.

All that the people nearby saw was one of the windows being smashed and chunks of electronics flying out covering the footpath, then started the shouting...First a man could be heard bellowing about how "if they thought they would get away with this they would be sorely mistaken" and "they would be the ones paying for this not me" then a few muffled words before 4 individuals jumped through the broken window and took off in different directions. A few seconds later a large man, about 6.2 jumps out the window after them while shouting "When I catch you wee fuckers I'll kill you then take back what you stole". This greatly confused everyone watching as when the 4 left they were all empty handed so how could they have stolen anything from the shop, especially as it was a games shop and if they had stolen anything expensive it would have been big...unless they had stolen something that didnt have a physical body like a free exclusive version of the new game that was about the be released called Mythical Adventures Online, everyone who was anyone knew about it as it used the latest version of the gaming chambers that have just recently became popular with gamers due to the life like aspect of them...

As the four teens split up one of them starts going down seemingly random alleys before coming out to a normal looking street before quickly entering a house. Once in the house the boy shouts out "Hey ma I'm home" before quickly heading up to a room upstairs, inside the room the only things are a plain bed(which is undone) a wooden desk with a state of the art computer and a large cardboard box nearly as big as the bed with a slight layer of dust covering it. Just as he opens the door the computer beeps and lights up before a voice starts to speak "Hey asshole I know that your back by now so would you HURRY UP AND UNBOX THE DAMN THING before I decided to take it back, everyone else has already used the damn things but OH NO YOU'VE LEFT IT 4 WEEKS TO OPEN IT" before abruptly stopping. The boy just sighs before starting to unpack the box...

Half an hour later the sleek black chamber has been set up and is floating an inch above the ground using powerful air blasts to push it off the ground. He then connects the chamber to the computer which makes the chamber change colour to a bright blue before the computer switches on and a loading screen comes up. Just as this happens theres a crash from downstairs and then silence, Ray(the boy, I couldn't be bothered saying "the boy" again until someone said his name) looks round in surprise and rushes down stairs, to see that a stack of plates have fallen and smashed across the floor. He sighs and gets to work cleaning it all up, while he does this a black and white cat with a yin yang symbol on it's back dashes up the stairs and jumps on the computer just as the loading bar gets to 69%(Nice) and walks in a circle before laying down on it, as it does the screen flashes a dark crimson before the loading bar disappears and the notification "Welcome Mr Glass" appears instead.
