『Chapter 5』Oʀᴅᴇʀs
Third Person POV:
May 23, 20XX
•The waitress came in to take their
their order moments later after Lilong had sneezed, maybe making it obvious the cat hair gave her allergies. "Hello, Good evening. My name is Sasha and I'll be the one taking your orders on this lovely day. What would you two like to drink?" The waitress asked us while she took her small notebook-like out to write our orders.
The waitress had brown hair which was tied up to a small ponytail with loose strands of hair on the side of her face. "Hi, Good evening to you too. I would like some herbal tea, please." Crysti ordered, maybe she's a regular customer here. Crysti handed the menu to Lilong, so she could pick what she'd like to drink. Lilong scanned the menu that was just handed to her and looked for something good to drink.
"Can I get Iced Coffee?" Lilong asked the waitress who was standing in front of her, ready to write down their orders. "Herbal tea for the lady on the right, and Iced Coffee for the lady on the left?" The waitress asked them, making sure she didn't get the wrong order. "Yes." Crysti confirmed. "Is that all you two want? Would you like any desserts to eat with your drinks?" The waitress asked the two ladies.
•Lilong and Crysti both looked
at the menu to see if there was anything they would like. "Yes. I would like a strawberry cake." Crysti said after finishing looking at the menu. "Okay, 1 Strawberry cake and Herbal tea for the lady on the right.." The waitress said outloud to herself while writing it down on her small notebook-like. "And you? Would you like something?" The waitress said as she looked at Lilong who was currently searching for something she would like on the menu.
"Hmm.. could I get the Chocolate cake?" Lilong placed down the menu on the table. "Mkay.. 1 Chocolate cake and Iced coffee for the lady on the left.." The waitress said outloud to herself again as she wrote the order down. "Would that be all that you want?" The waitress looked up to look at the two customers. Both of the customers nod a 'yes'. "Okay, while you two wait.. you may hang out with our beautiful cats."
The waitress said while giving them a smile.
"Kay, Thanks for taking our order. Is Milky in here today?" Crysti asked the waitress who seemed to be pondering for a moment. "I'll have to check." The waitress said as she bowed then excused herself.
•They both kept staring at the waitress who just left. "Is Milky the cat you were looking for?" Lilong said trying to start a conversation. "Yep. Though I can't seem to find him anywhere.." Crysti said with her voice hinting sadness. "Have you ever considered asking to take Milky home?" Lilong suggested. "Yeah, but I don't think my parents would like me having a pet. Especially a cat." Crysti said while looking at the other cats who were playing with some toys in the floor.
"Why not? Are they allergic like me or is it because they are messy?" Lilong asked Crysti. "Both." Crysti replied not wanting to talk about the subject anymore. The waitress came back holding a round black plate carrying two cups. "Here is the Herbal tea and Iced coffee. The cakes will come soon." The waitress said before excusing herself.
They both took their corresponding drinks and started sipping on them. "Do you come here often, Crysti?" Lilong asked the female who seemed to be enjoying every second of her drink. "Yep, I love it here." Crysti said while giving Lilong a big grin. Lilong hummed at her answer.
•After some 5 minutes, the waitress came in holding a round black plate once again but this time it had two cakes, 1 Strawberry cake and 1 Chocolate cake. "Here you go." The waitress said as she placed both cakes on the table her customers were sitting at. "Thank you~" Lilong said as she took her Chocolate cake and placed it in front of her, getting ready to eat it.
"Oh, ma'am. Milky is eating right now. So no need to worry about him." The waitress directed this message to Crysti who relaxed after hearing Milky was okay. They finished both their drinks and cakes. Being satisfied, Crysti asked for the waitress. "Yes? Do you need something?" The waitress asked Crysti. "Yes. We are ready to pay." Crysti replied while handing the now empty plates and cups.
"Oh, Okay. Let me bring these to the kitchen." The waitress said before she walked over to the kitchen to drop off the plates and cups. Once she did it, she returned "Okay, the total would be $13.57." The waitress said as she waited for the girls to pay. Crysti and Lilong both paid $7 so it could be fair. "Keep the change." Crysti said before standing up to leave.
"Oh, thank you. I hope you both come again." The waitress said before leaving the two females alone.
"Well, I really enjoyed this date, Lilong. Maybe we should do this again~?" Crysti said before leaving Lilong there standing. "A- A date??" Lilong said shocked and confused, not realizing she stuttered, making the silver haired female to laugh. "Bye bye~" Crysti said before exiting the cafe. 'Idiot' was all Lilong could say right now. She exited the cafe and started making her way to the building her apartment was in.
•Reaching the building, she entered, walked to the elevator and pressed the arrow that was facing up. The elevator opened, Lilong walked in, pressed F4 and waited for the elevator to reach her floor. Once it did, she stepped out, walked to her apartment door, unlocked her door and entered just to turn around to lock it once more. Lilong dumped her apartment keys on a near by table and went to her room. She threw herself on her bed, took her phone out and unlocked her phone.
'2 missed calls' and '27 unread messages.'
Lilong opened her messages and found, 20 messages from the group chat, 2 from Crysti and 5 from her best friend Elly.
