New P.U.D., Stranger you.

It began vibrating as he felt a ring tighten around his wrist, tighter then he enjoyed, but grinding his teeth he bared through it, and with another hiss it began to loosen, giving him a chance to breathe before he felt the usual prick of a needle, but this time he felt what he thought to be the nanites being injected into his veins, and it felt pretty uncomfortable. But turns out it was actually just the pain meds because after it stopped a minute later his arm went numb.

After that the machine just began wiring as it did what it did, Jack knowing basically nothing as to what It was doing. Meanwhile, Dr. Smith was tapping a couple of things on the holographic display every few seconds, smiling happily to herself. And after what felt like forever to Jack, he felt the machine that was clamping his arm shut, listen up, he looked at the Dr. waiting to be told to take his arm out, who immediately nodded when she saw his expression of dread, boredom, and discomfort. "You look like you want to collapse onto a bed and stay there for months right now."

"Being trapped in one spot for thirty minutes without being able to sleep gets you thinking." He takes his arm out looking at the gold wristband surrounding his wrist, before slightly rolling his still numb arm back and forth on its shoulder. "How long does this last? It's pretty strong for some pain meds I mean unless of course, those nanites don't interfere with how effective it is then that makes sense."

She nods. "Nanites were first created for medicinal purposes so they don't interfere with the medicine, so it will last for quite a bit. But it's getting late so I suggest that you get some rest anyway." Jack looked around for a clock noticing that it was actually pretty late, it was almost five pm, meaning he was testing out weapons for a bit more than nine hours, which surprised even him. "Oh yeah, those little food cube things, are those safe?" She didn't take a second to think before nodding. "One hundred percent, they are definitely healthy, in fact, I'll give you a little heads up, on DK you won't have enough time to eat, meaning you'll have to suck on one of them while you're out fighting. Unless you need four or five hours of sleep then go right ahead, but they taste really good and will last from the start of the day, so six am to noon." She smiles as she presses a button on the holographic display causing it to disappear.

"Thanks for the heads up, well now that you pointed it out, I am getting a bit tired so I'm gonna go if I'm allowed to, or is there something else you need to do?" She nods, "I need you to turn it on and show me the display so I can make sure everything is working properly." Jack nods, flicking his wrist causing a message to appear.

"Are the 'Investor' and 'Skill' tabs supposed to be there?" She walks next to him looking at the display and nods. "Those two things will be explained at the debriefing don't worry about it. But it looks fine that's all I wanted to see so you're good to go. By the way, your current map is of the current floors that you can access in case you ever get lost in this place, it's pretty big after all."

He nods in agreement before walking out the door with a wave, deciding that he would want to look at the map anyway, he opened the display, then the map, which showed the current floor he was on, half of the map is restricted, so he didn't know what was there, but he really wanted to just see if this wristband was like any other one, besides in its color which was a gold, compared to the black ones given for Death's Kingdom. Quickly getting into the elevator, he entered it this time being able to properly use it and going up to the residential floor, which now that he thought about it, must be huge considering only a very small section was available to the players.

It didn't take long before the doors opened up to instead reveal a different room looking at the floor number this was the first floor of the environmental training, and on the other side of the door, was Joey, who gave an awkward smile as he stepped in, looking to see which floor the elevator was headed to and seeing that it was headed to the rooms, he did nothing, "So what are you hiding from u-"

"Nothing you need to know about." He didn't even look at Joey, waiting for the elevator doors to open, and once they did, walking out and to his room, and thankfully Joey's room was at the other end of the hall so he didn't have to talk to him. Entering his room he walks over to his bed falling onto it with a sigh.
