Jack wakes up to his alarm once more, dreading having to have actual social interactions with people. Getting out of bed he starts his morning routine but stops in the mirror, to just observe himself, looking into his black eyes he shudders as he takes a step back from the mirror, before exiting the bathroom taking one of the food cubes and tossing it into his mouth, deciding it would be better if he could get there before anyone else. Opening the door to his room he quickly heads to the elevator, getting in when the doors open and quickly pressing the button to the gym, it didn't take long for the doors to open, and when they did he saw a couple of people were already in the gym training.
He didn't take more than a second to look around the gym before he headed to his haven, where he could bury himself in various types of guns, hoping that it will distract him from the week and a half he has until they head off to Death's Kingdom. But the more he wants not to think about it the more he does, and the more anxious he gets, taking a deep breath he just focuses on the rifle he was currently holding, detaching the scope, and attaching another. kneeling he aimed it at a target at the end of the range. Taking one more deep breath he fires, he brings his head up looking at the target to see he hit right in the shoulder, sighing he stands up. "Something got you pent up?" Jack turns around to see a new face, or at least someone he hasn't seen yet. He shakes his head at the, what he's going to say masculine person since it's not easy to identify their gender with their current looks. It could be a very masculine female or just a regular male, or someone using different pronouns for all he knows.
Shaking his head out of those thoughts, he takes the scope off of the rifle he was using, placing them both back to where they were before, "I'm perfectly fine." He begins looking through various types of smaller guns, varying from pistols to the smaller sub-automatic weapons. "It's pretty easy to tell you have something on your mind, unless you're an arms specialist who can't even hit the heart then I'd have to ask how you even got here."
"Why does everyone here have to ask so many questions, I just want some peace so I can see what I want to use when I get on Death's Kingdom." He takes a revolver out, placing a singular bullet in the chamber. He spins it waiting a second before flicking it back into its spot before aiming and quickly firing the actual bullet, which hit square in the middle of the heart, "That better for you?" He looks over at the person before he fills the chamber.
"Yeah yeah, shouldn't have doubted ya." They chuckle, anyway my name is Alex, and no I'm not a guy I'm a gal." She chuckles, before speaking again. "Anyway, what's up with you? Seems like you got on the wrong side with some people."
"Who cares, not like they're gonna kill me anyway." Jack quickly aims and fires every bullet in quick succession. "Why so sure about that?" Alex walks behind Jack seeing that every one of the bullets he fired were straight to the head. "I'm sure that two of them won't kill me, that's what I'm sure about if you need a reason as to why I think that ask them."
"OK I'll leave you alone you seem pissed, come to me if you need someone to talk to I'm a great therapist, as well as a player." She walks out of the armory, but not before examining the rifle that Jack was using before the revolver. quietly chuckling to herself before leaving. Jack sighs as he goes back to his training, but now he also had what she said on his mind, bringing his concentration to almost nill.
After another hour or so of trying to keep his concentration on his weapons and nothing else, he lets out a frustrated sigh, putting what seemed to be a sort of laser rifle away, walking into the gym he sees Alex in a more separated part of the gym. Quickly walking over it looked like she could already tell he was headed her way, giving him a friendly smile. "Soooooo have you thought about my offer?"
"Why else would I be here?" They nod, taking a second to think, "So It's pretty easy to tell there's something strange about you, it's not every day you see someone able to handle the recoil of the sniper you were using seventy-one minutes ago. If I'm correct it's a type 6 super-heavy long-ranged quick shot sniper rifle, able to handle some of the largest bullets in the galaxy. Not to mention you were able to beat a close combatant as someone who normally uses further ranged weapons, sure there are those who like up close fights, but you've been using mostly long-range weapons with a couple of side-arms, specifically different types of revolvers. I think you thought you were hiding it pretty well but Mr. Kan I think... you might just be an SP, now hear me out first, it may sound stupid to go to such fast assumptions but, that gold wristband you have there is an overworld wristband, only those that reach the final world gets those because of how much of a pain they take to actually make, they wouldn't give someone who's allergic to a chemical in a wristband one only given to the best of the best, sure there. And all I needed was a bit of direction from you and some answers from three people to figure that one out, it's a super simple conclusion, but there's also the fact that this isn't just a simple wristband here either."
They lift their right arm to show the black wristband to Jack, but now that he looked closer, he could see that there was a bit of... gold?
