Jack steps out, the sound of a steady stream, the wind blowing, and the birds chirping making Jack feel the most comfortable he's ever been. Considering he had to worry about dying since he was seventeen, sighing at the thought he walked along the side of the stream looking at the fish of various browns and greys swimming in said stream. He comes to the cliff where the stream was coming from, running his hand along the cold rock, pulling his hand back when a sharp part of it cuts into his hand, thankfully it was just a small prick, but before he could do anything his blood coagulated before it became a small scab.
Jack, being the person he is, picks at it until it comes off, showing that the cut that was supposed to be there wasn't, It was just his normal tanned skin. It was strange to him but he could think of two reasons why it happened that he could think about later, right now he wanted to relax putting his hands back into his pocket he looks around noticing a path that leads to the top of the cliff.
Walking onto the path he looked up at it, was a bit steeper then he was expecting but nothing problematic. It didn't take long to get up there, and the view was quite worth it, he could look across the whole forest seeing a couple of clearings like the one he came from. Looking further he also saw a pond, that seemed to be made from various streams, now that he saw the sheer size of this 'park' he doesn't really know if you could call it one, you could probably get lost in this place for a day or two, if you were stuck near the middle and didn't know the layout of the place.
While he was looking over the place he could hear a woosh, which was normally the sound the elevator doors made when they opened but that wouldn't make any sense considering that the only elevator doors that the player had access to definitely wasn't behind him. As he turned his head he noticed that it was the bald guy who called him out on lying his first day in the gym, he turned his head back not bothering to even question him.
"Oh hey, Jack right?" His deep voice was powerful and commanding, intimidating almost. The only reason it wasn't is because you could tell he was trying to be a bit softer. "Yes, It's Jack."
"Listen I'm sorry about your fi-'' Jack puts a hand up. "You can't help it I know, it's not like my lie was any good anyway." Jack sits down, his legs hanging off the ledge of the cliff. "Right, I assume you also want to keep it secret." There wasn't even a second of hesitation from Jack before he nodded. "I won't be telling anyone, anyone here at least." The man nods, "I'm Hans by the way, a Berserker." He motions to his well built body. Jack looks behind him to look at Hans. "Sorry if this sounds a bit offensive, but you look to be an older Player?"
He chuckles. "I get it a lot, but no just a style, I'm twenty-six and if I had to guess you look to be twenty-three, no twenty-two?" Jack nods, "Right on the mark, are you just innately good at reading people like a book?" He smiles, "Nope! I mean yes, and no, I'm still trying to get better but people don't generally want others to know their secrets, after all they're secrets for a reason."
"Right, so did you come to me to ask me if you could make me spill my secrets?" Hans quickly shakes his head, "No not at all! I didn't even know you were here, I normally come to the cliff to relax, don't want to push your body past it's limit, that's why your here isn't it." Jack nods in agreement. "Right, I'll leave then so you can do you." Jack begins to stand up before being stopped by Hans. "Oh no you don't have to! I mean as long as your fine with me being here."
Jack sits back down, looking down below him. "Oh no, I won't take your spot away from you." Hans sits down in a cross-legged position, swaying from side to side, "It's pretty nice isn't it?" A smile comes across jack's face as he nods, "The last time I've experienced this was on-"
"Beta, I think it's the only place anyone has experienced anything like this."
