Preparation

The sun is shining brightly and the clouds are drifting calmly in the open blue skies. Two boys are currently fighting on the green grassy fields. Even though they are fighting, none are treating this as a life or death battle. It is just a friendly spar between two good pals. One kid is wielding two wooden swords swinging his blades around while the other just dodges the incoming attacks.

The kid who is dodging has reflexes which is instantaneous. He looks like an expert that has been doing it for years. His fluid motion of controlling and moving his body while dodging looks like he is dancing into the pace of the swords.

The way that kid dodges is very smooth. He dodges the blades when the sharp edges got extremely close to his body. If he dodges just a little bit late or a little bit early, it will be the end of him. And there are times that he could attack the sword wielding kid but chose not to. It seems that he is practicing his elusive art of dodging rather than fighting. If he were to fight, the battle will end in an instant.

"Damn Finn, I did't know you were this good. I couldn't hit you at all. Your is really marvellous. Why didn't you fight like this against those bastards? You could have definitely trashed them. Not to mention if I were there, I would've helped you beat them up into a pulp!"

The sword wielding kid catching his breath is his best friend, Dran. He is the fifth child of the Draven family's family head. The Draven is a high noble family but they don't seem to care much about statuses. They only care much about strength. Dran has been friends with Finn since they were little kids. They hung and played a lot. But that is until the age of 7 where Dran is no longer allowed to play, but to learn the ways of the Draven. The Draven family is famous for their exquisite blade works. They produces many excellent blade wielding warriors. Dran was sent to the academies to follow the footsteps of their families. Every member of the Dravens after the age of 11 were directly sent to join the academies in the city of Wyrnir to become powerful warriors.

"I think that I'm just too kind, that's all. And it's alright Dran. I'll get them myself later on. And furthermore, my current state is actually a blessing in disguise. I could be more focused this way and easier to perceive my surroundings."

"HAHAHA, it's good that you have are thinking positively! That's what I'm expecting from a friend of the great Dran!"

They soon finish up practicing and go back to the carriage. It has been 5 days since Finn started practicing the gliding stage of the . After the training session with Dran, he has mastered the gliding stage and can move onto the slippery stage.

The slippery stage focuses on the balance of the body reinforced with the basics of the gliding stage. Having mastered the gliding stage, the slipper stage should be a walk in the park for Finn.

Continuing the journey, Finn was laying on the carriage and got himself stuck in thinking on needing more manuals to be used in his arsenal. Not just any random manual, but manuals that could produce Aura. He suddenly thinks about those kids who beat him up and cause him to be blinded.

"I really need more manuals since I believe I'll be able to master the into full completion in no time at all. If I recall correctly, that Greem and Krow are from middle noble families. And those three other friends of theirs are from small noble families. I believe they brought their manuals with them since they still need to practice it. But I've never seen any of them practicing. I'll just try my luck and fork it out of them then."

"I can't believe the debt is going to be collected so soon. hehehe. This debt collector is going to collect some debt with some interest of course. I'll make some preparation and will roll out soon in a couple of days. Just to make sure, I'll also master the slippery stage. It won't take that long to do so."

Finn then got to his sitting position and start looking through the slippery stage explanation in his memory. The slippery stage is not that much different from the gliding stage. But it needs one to be slippery with his attacks making him extremely flexible while being rooted in place. It needs one to have a controlled body and could fully utilise his balance.

"I'll start practicing the slippery stage tonight. And I'll also look into their backgrounds and supports just to make sure nothing will be going south. In a couple of days, I hope those guys better have the manuals that I needed."
