6 Escape and magic

//AN: I just finished writing this chapter. It may not be as good as others, I wrote hurriedly. //

"I will." Jin answered.

"Let's move." Kazuki shouted and used magic to transform to two-meter-tall griffin.

Jin carried Mayumi and jumped on top of Kazuki.

Kazuki released magic from his mouth and destroyed wall and flew thru it.

Minoru jumped thru kitchen window.

"Today is the day when I kill the last dragon from that race." The god said when he saw Minoru flew towards him.

"No, I will kill you before that." Minoru said.

"What do you think one dragon can do against me, me I am god. You can do nothing!" God shouted proudly.

Minoru jumped towards the god and started attacking.

Jin and others were flying thru the sky. Jin could see parts of the fight happening but as they flew further and further it become blur.

"Haha. Is this all you can do, and you call you self a dragon. You have become weaker!" The god shouted.

Few minutes earlier.

"Haaa!" Minoru flew towards god and started to punch him.

All the attacks connected but when he stopped the god was unscratched.

"H-how?" Minoru asked.

"You are just too weak, let me show you true power!" The god shouted and started to charge massive amount of magic in his hand.

"Total annihilation!"

Halve of the mountain was destroyed and Minoru was in no good shape.

"H-how can you be so powerful" Minoru was scared now. This durability of this mountain was strengthened whit powerful magic. Even for him it would take all his power to make this kind of destruction.

"HAHAH! You are just too weak!"

"No, I will kill you!" Minoru know it would be hard to win but he had to. His daughter was waiting for him to follow her.

Minoru flew higher and started to charge magic. He channeled the magic at his hands.

"Hell storm"

Large purple storm formed and started to burn everything it touched.

"HUUHH" Minoru took deep breath

"HU A-are you HU still alive" Minoru asked. At this point is was painful to breath.

Nothing could be heard in while and Minoru was relieved.

"Looks like I won." He said

But just wen Minoru was about to leave he heard something.

"Is this all?" Minoru could hear his mocking tone.

"You are weak" He said and launched himself towards Minoru.

He attacked Minoru whit his mace making Minoru puke blood. He took Minoru's head in his hand.

He throw him towards the mountain.

Minoru was barely conscious, but his termination kept him awake. He launched him self and started his counterattack.

As Minoru was about to connect his attack, he felt sharp pain from his stomach.

"H-how?" Was all he could muster. The gods hand pierced his stomach. Blood came out of his mouth.

"Now I have killed the last dragon from the ancient dragon race." The god said.

Just when the god finished Minoru closed his eyes and his heart stopped.

In some part of the world Jin, Mayumi and Kazuki were resting from the long flight.

"NOOO!!" Mayumi woke up and started to shout and cry.

"What is it, what happened?" Jin moved closed to her and asked.

"H-he is dead?" She said. She had pained expression and cried while hugging Jin.

"Who died?" Jin asked.

"P-papa!" She started crying more and hugged Jin tightly.

"What?! How can that be?" Jin was sad.

Jin and Mayumi hugged each othe and Mayumi cried. Jin twisted his face not to cry but it was hard.

Kazuki didn't say anything because he know Minoru wouldn't come back alive, but he was still sad.

Jin was in deep thoughts and got idea.

"Uncle Kazuki, teach me magic!" Jin said whit terminated expression.

Mayumi looked Jin whit suppressed expression but didn't say anything.

"I need to keep her safe from the gods." Jin said.

Now Mayumi's mouth curvet little smile and buried her head on Jin's chest.

"O-ok. So how much do you know about magic?" Kazuki asked while twisting his eyebrows.

'Why are you calling me uncle I'm only 19.' Kazuki thought.

"I don't know anything." Jin said.

"What? You don't know nothing." Kazuki was surprised.

"Didn't Minoru tell you?" He asked.

"No" Jin answered and shakes his head.

Kazuki looked towards Mayumi but when he saw her hug Jin, he didn't say anything.

"Then why were you living whit them?" he asked and looked Jin.

"I had no other place to go and he offered to help me find one, but in the end, I started living whit them." Jin answered.

"Ok. I will tell you everything I know about magic." Kazuki said

"First there are many types of magics, you can draw it from atmosphere, or you can produce it inside of your body. Easiest way is to draw it from atmosphere but if all the magic is sealed from atmosphere you can't use magic that's why it's important to learn both ways." Kazuki said.

"How do I start learning magic?" Jin asked.

"First you need to meditate to focus draw magic from atmosphere, when you can do that, then I will teach you next step." Kazuki said.

"We will stay here for the night." Kazuki said

Jin didn't start meditating right away, he waited Mayumi to let go. In couple of minutes Mayumi fell asleep and Jin moved her to his side so he can start practicing magic.

Jin started to meditate but nothing happened, he meditated for hours and Mayumi woke up for her sleep.

"Ojii-san why did you teach magic to Jin?" Mayumi asked.

"W-what?" Kazuki was startled.

'did she just call me ojii-san?' He twitched his lips thinking about his.

'Do I look that old?' He thought.

"Why did you tech magic to him?" Mayumi asked again.

"I don't know, it might be his determination." He said and looked up to see stars.

"Why didn't you or Minoru teach magic to him?" He suddenly asked.

"Papa said it would be too dangerous." She answered and looked at Jin who was Sitting cross-legged meditating.

"Yes, it's dangerous to teach magic to wrong person. If bad human learns magic no one knows what he would do whit it." Kazuki said while looking at stars.
