Chapter :-8 [Avatar Descend]
The spirit was angered beyond limits, it's face had disappeared as the clouds started looking like a more complete version of it.
The fox with 9-tails, it thrashed about here and there but Abe held on and slowly strengthened his grasp over the evil spirit. The mages who were sent as a back-up had already died under the seize of multiple spirits.
Apparently, the fox not only killed so many people to harvest their lives but also turn them into undead creatures that were unaffected by the magic.
The spell started binding the fox's soul to the jar so that it wouldn't be able to escape and will be forever trapped inside it. It tried to resist, the undead neared Abe in huge numbers yet when they got close enough.
Their bodies started burning from being in contact with Abe's magic. It seemed that Abe was a holy magic-user. An ancient type of magic that was fatal to undead creatures and evil spirits.
He paid them no attention as he gathered his focus into sealing the spirit. Seeing that resistance was futile, the fox lost control and madly attacked everything surrounding it.
Even the council members and the Duchess weren't safe near an out-of-control evil spirit. Abe tried his best to defend them while also sealing it.
Due to him dividing his power to protect the others, the speed of the sealing process slowed down. Feeling this change in the seal, the fox was delighted and tried it's best to attack the puny humans.
Abe gritted his teeth while maintaining the golden barrier around the others to protect them. Under the constant barrage, the barrier finally gave in and broke apart.
Abe gave up on defending others, he knew that sealing this evil spirit was the most important thing to do right now. Though he didn't want anyone to die, if sacrifices were needed then he would not hesitate.
The spirit gathered its remaining power as it felt the sealing spell strengthening itself and launched a huge palm towards the group, intending to kill them all in one shot.
"Mage-Abe protect us....!!!!"
"Yes, Mage-Abe help us....!!!!"
"My protection charm is going to break...!!!!"
Abe ignored their voices with a painful expression, sacrifices were required or he would be risking the lives of all the people living in the Dukedom.
This was something that Abe couldn't allow, thus he chose to let them die. The barrier protecting the councilmen started to creak under the pressure of the huge palm.
They were panicking, afraid of death whereas Caroline just tightly held her son beside him. Albus had an innocent expression on his face, he just looked towards the huge palm trying to crush them.

ᒥ....Your and your mother's unconditional trust and support and in return, I will help you both as long as I am in this Dukedom....ᒧ

The voice inside Albus's head went quiet as formidable power filled his body, unending mana converged towards Albus who's eyes had to turn white.
Henrik had used [Avatar Descend] on Albus to descend in his body for a short period of time and seal this Evil spirit for good. The magic was an improved version of [Traveler's body jump] spell, it's the only drawback was that for someone as strong as Henrik, he could only descend in another body for a short period of time otherwise his magic would destroy the body.
Henrik only had 10 seconds, after these 10 seconds Albus's body would start to break. The reason why he didn't descend in Caroline's body was because of her body capability and magic aptitude. Also, he would prefer a male body over a female's even if it was only for 10 short seconds.
Sensing the change in the atmosphere around her, Caroline asked in a low voice while diligently looking at her surroundings.
"Albus...?"

He stepped forward and started walking towards the barrier where the palm was pressuring it.
"Albus....!!!!!"
His mother screamed as she tries to follow behind yet couldn't move as a force held her in place.
Albus raised his tiny little hands towards the huge blood palm and started chanting. Power burst forth his tiny frame as the chants transformed into a spear and launched itself towards the huge blood palm.
It tore through the palm and launched itself towards the spirit's main body.
"Afra hudh Mekra orehu....."
The chants grew louder and louder while the spears nailed the 9-tails of the fox. Its tails were the source of its power, once you take care of them. It becomes easier to deal with the fox.
The fox screeched in pain, an invisible force wrapped around its body and started dragging it inside the jar. The fox issued an angered roar yet it was powerless in front of the spear with mythical engravings all over them.
Henrik had created special sealing spells based on the spell the spirits had cast upon his family, sealing them in coffins. He had examined the structure of the magic and derived a powerful sealing spell which was fatal for any spirit.
He reverse engineered the runes and engravings and created a spell to counter the spirits.
The fox could only roar and get dragged inside the jar. Abe saw what had happened and he had many questions in his mind but he knew that now wasn't the time to be asking questions so he focused on sealing the spirit.
The fox was sealed inside the jar while chains coiled against its body and the letter ᒥ M ᒧ appeared on the jar's body.
"I did it....!!!!"
"Albus....!!!"
Albus fell unconscious as Henrik's spirit left his body. Caroline rushes towards her son and held him in her arms. She checked his pulse and vitals and let out a relieved sigh.
ᒥ....He's just exhausted after using my magic, let him rest and return to the castle after you are done there....ᒧ
Caroline had a complicated expression on her face as she caressed her son's face and softly muttered under her breath.
"Thank you...."
[Elsewhere]
"Well now that the spirit has been taken care of, I can start collecting the herbs and ingredients that I require to unseal my siblings."
"Now I can utilize the manpower of this Dukedom without the need for compelling everyone, I still haven't grown accustomed to my new powers. It will take me some time to learn [Compulsion]."
"I will use the Duchess as a cover to hide my presence, I will not take any chances before freeing at least 2 of my siblings."
Henrik ran his finger across the wooden coffin he was sealed in and said in a low tone.
"Soon I will be strong enough to break the curse and free them, one by one and no one will be able to stop me from reuniting with my family...."
