*Splash*
The moving water crashed against the bow of the Battleship while moved forward with great momentum, like cutting through flesh with a sword.
The Battleship was huge, a new magnesium-foam composite was used to make the [Floating Hulk].
It could withstand high temperatures and intense pressures—all while staying light as a sponge
A new composite that blends titanium and foam had the durability of magnesium with the weight of a sponge. It could withstand forces of 25,000 pounds per square inch and had a higher temperature threshold than other lightweight materials thanks to the presence of metals. Oh, and it floats on water.
The new material was syntactic, meaning that a series of air bubbles were inserted in production to make it even lighter without sacrificing structural integrity.
On the Bridge of the [Floating Hulk], stood a young man. He had short white-hair, ocean blue eyes, pale skin and wore an indifferent expression over his face. He was wearing golden-rimmed glasses with the letter 'M' printed on the side, a shiny purple-pendant hung from his neck while he wore a custom military uniform.
It consisted of a German-style black-red double-breasted tailcoat with standing collar faced white with gold edging, worn with gold-black shoulder boards, and gold-laced black trousers with a German-style black hat along with a red cap around his body.
Henrik held the rank of [5-Star Admiral] within the navy which was the highest level of power within the navy. His entire being gave off tremendous pressure even though he looked extremely young to be an [Admiral].
Henrik was on his way to Korea or rather China-occupied Korea, he wanted to cripple the Chinese navy by destroying Korean fleets.
Once the waters around Korea were under their control then China wouldn't be able to utilize its navy as the area they posses to deploy their navy is too small and they don't dare deploy their Battleships within the Indian Ocean.
Fighting against Russia and the USA had already caused them a lot of damage, Japanese forces were on their way to take care of the Chinese forces and in this situation, if they somehow provoked India then their country would surely collapse.
As the control centre of a ship underway, the bridge housed instruments and equipment used to control the movements of the ship. Instruments such as radar, navigation switches, wind indicators, radios, speed indicators, and compasses were located on the bridge.
Around Henrik, sat many individuals making up a portion of the crew, checking different data and feeds while keeping an eye out for enemies.
"Sir! We have detected 3-non allied ships near our fleet! It is mostly to be a patrol squad to secure the parameter! Our cloaking husks will prevent them from locating our fleets!" (Random Officer)
"What are your orders Admiral?…." (Another Random Officer)
"Avoid the three-scouts and keep moving forward! Assign one of our Battle-ships to stay and be ready to sink the scouts at my signal!" (Henrik)
"Yes sir!"
"Hmm….."
The Japanese navy had well over 930 combat vessels, 300 submarines, 15-nuclear powered aircraft carriers and 500 support craft, all these ships were equipped with cloaking technology along with a standard energy barrier.
Henrik commanded 310 combat vessels and 100 submarines along with 167 support craft and 5-nuclear powered aircraft carriers to silently enter the Korean Waters and take care of their navy with a surprise attack.
Henrik wanted to avoid frontal confrontation as North Korea's fleet consisted of approximately 630 combat vessels (Patrol craft, guided-missile boats, torpedo boats, fire support craft, destroyers, frigates, corvettes, and three cruisers), 100 submarines, and 340 support craft (landing craft, hovercraft). This was without including the Chinese Naval forces.
Thus Henrik didn't want to give them any chance to react and wanted to kill them all in one sloop.
Once Henrik's fleet reached as close as it possibly could without getting noticed, he gave the order to sink the scouts and lure the Korean navy away from the shore before attacking them with a pincer attack.
"Sink the motherfuckers!" (Henrik)
"Aye aye, Sir!" (Random Officer)
One of the officers immediately used the radio to contact with the single ship they assigned to sink the scouts.
"G-17 Ghost! You are ordered to engage with the scouts and sink them before backing away! Permission to use [Plasma-Cannon] granted!" (Random Officer)
"This is Ghost speaking! The [Plasma-Cannon] is ready to fire! Initiate fire in 3…2….1…Fire!"
A plasma cannon (also called an electrothermal accelerator) was an experimental type of raygun that fired a stream, bolt, pulse or toroid of plasma weapon, it accelerated a projectile by means of a plasma discharge between electrodes at the rear of the barrel, generating a rapid increase in pressure.
It functions similarly to other types of firearm, except that it uses a plasma discharge instead of a chemical propellant.
The weapon was designed by Freya using Modern magic as a base, the whole fleet under Henrik's command was equipped with this weapon of mass destruction.
The long cannon fired as an extremely hot beam of plasma blasted a hole into one of the scouts while the other two ships were bombarded by rockets and husk-destroying piercing shots.
Caught by surprise and unable to retaliate, the scouts could only sink while they managed to informed the main navy about the incoming Japanese fleet. But what they didn't know was that the Japanese navy had already entered their area and had initiated a pincer attack from all fronts.
After receiving the signal, the Korean forces started moving towards the location of the scouts whereas Chinese forces guarded the mainland.
Seeing the Korean navy take the bait, Henrik decided to finish it quickly and proceed with his plans.
"Let's make it more interesting…." (Henrik)
"Activate [Modern-magic:-Signal Interference magic]" (Henrik)
"On it sir!" (Random Officer)
An activation sequence appeared all around the Korean waters as the signals were jammed by using magic and Henrik used an Original Magic to summon fog to cover the battlefield.
The enemies communication feature and reader were already useless after Henrik ordered the use of the Modern-magic with they couldn't even differentiate between ally and foe since that fog was extremely thick and blocked sound from travelling from one spot to another.
