The Night Before The Dawn 4:50 A.M.

Walking to the estate grounds Mathias stopped where he stood now as he was closer to it than he was hours before. He pulled out his binoculars and scanned the estate grounds noticing quite a few vampiric guards standing in place. "Maybe I should have had you stake out the place because these damned Binoculars have horrible range." he growled as his muscles cried out from having been forced to walk a mile and a half with heavy equipment strapped to him. Oddly enough he couldn't remember the last time he had to wear this much equipment when taking on a house or den of vampires.

"Everyone is almost in place. Except for us." Ramses said in a hushed tone as he squinted his eyes rolling up his right sleeve revealing tattoos etched all across his arm as they slowly began to glow and move around his arm fluidly as it slowly moved forward towards his right hand as it formed a massive beautifully made bow within his grasp as he formed an arrow in his left hand.

"That is some really cool ink." Mathias spoke his voice full of appreciation at what he had just witnessed. "Where can I get some of my own?"

Shaking his head Ramses pulled back the drawstring of the bow before letting loose a arrow into the distance as he let down the bow as it slowly formed back into his tattoos. "You get it by being born what I am. And trust me Mathias this isn't a life you want to live." He said as he stared the man down. Ramses definitely gave off the aura of I will end your existence if you breathed in my direction.

"I don't like the current one I have to live, it can't be that much worse." Mathias spoke in a low tone as he looked through the binoculars to see a vampire with a burning arrow through its heart as it had been pinned to the wall by the arrow. "You are one hell of a shot"

"It is through years of practice that I have acquired skills of this level." Ramses spoke with a slight hum as he looked to Mathias. "But if you are to succeed with your plan I suggest we do less back and forth conversation and more vampire hunting."

"We have two hours to get this done, no need to rush if we don't have to Ramses." He said in response as he made his way closer to the estate his soft footsteps barely heard. Making his way onto the property of the estate, he slowly looked around the dark yard that was barely illuminated by the moonlight.

Edging closer to the building the sound of a door slamming rang through the yard causing him to freeze where he stood as he closed his eyes slowly counting to ten as he opened them again and quickly continued as he mad his way towards the massive wall of brush, that separated him from the rest of the yard as he slowly cut through it looking through. He saw a blonde female wearing a beautiful dress hurrying into what seemed to be a maze of hedges. Frowning he turned and looked back to Ramses.

"Whatever you are trying to say to me Mathias I cannot understand through look alone." Ramses whispered as he glanced around the yard. "Whatever you are doing you better hurry it the hell up."

"I just saw someone rush this way." Mathias whispered in return as he continued to make a big enough hole in the bush for him and Ramses to get through. Upon reaching the other side Ramses formed the bow once again as he glanced around.

"How many?" Mathias asked as he looked around the yard not seeing anything in the dark corners as they slowly made their way closer to the maze. If this wasn't such a high stakes operation, Mathias would have had no need for the Grimm. But man was he lucky to have something that can see the void souls that vampires held within their beings.

"Not as many as there should be based on our previous calculations.." Ramses spoke softly in an unnerved tone as he readied his bow and pointed in the direction the girl had walked in.

"The girl is a void soul?" Mathias asked as he looked to Ramses with a small hint of surprise. Vampires rarely held hair so purely blonde. Mainly due to it being a trait for those who spent so much time within the sun. How could someone who is in the night all the time.

Shaking the thought out of his head he held out his arm in front of Ramses. "Leave that one be, I want to know why she is the way she is..take out the others" Mathias spoke softly as Ramses gave him a questionable stare before nodding and slowly turning to move away.

"Do not do anything stupid Mathias" Ramses said as he continued moving away. Leaving Mathias alone in the darkness, with his thoughts, and a very dangerous mission that was left before him.

Starting to move towards the direction the girl had went Mathias slowly moved through the darkness moving ever so closer. He peaked through the brush looking to see the young girl sitting by the edge of a pond as feint sounds of crying could be heard.

Frowning he stared at her observing her as she wiped tears from her cheek. Why was she crying? The thought entered his head as he shakes his head to clear the thought from his mind.

She wasn't human, and he needed to remember that fact. No matter how human she may seem. Reaching for his stake he paused as soon as his hand skimmed the hard wood as the sound of loud footsteps pierced through the sounds of the night.

Straining his ears he listened at the footsteps walked right past him on the other side of the brush.

He sat there in silence as the figure came into view causing his blood to run cold as soon as he recognized the figure with a new question entering his head. Why in gods name was Julius Morave here?
