The Night Before the Dawn 4:50 A.M part 2

Ramses stalked through the eerie moonlit night his bow out and ready. Keeping his eyes and ears ready and listening to the space around him as he moved closer to the western side of the estate. Looking around he found there to be very few guards on the estate grounds even in the dead of night. Standing as he drew his bowstring back aiming it higher he let a flaming arrow loose at it sailed across the sky and fell towards its intended target.

Glancing around the yard he scanned for any hint of vampires based off of their souls wavelength. Elder vampire held lower wavelength souls due to how long they have lived as a vampires. And with the life their soul having held wither away. More recently turned vampires still held brighter souls that emitted life from them. And that girl, hers was an interesting breath of life in the eyes of a balancer.

Ramses continued through the dark as he glanced to one of the windows of the estate seeing a light suddenly flicker on. Vampires using light? The thought puzzled him for a moment as he edged closer glancing in to see what appeared to be a man in his twenties, with dark blonde hair and he looked to someone who appeared to be in the room as he began to speak to them.

Placing his hands just below the window seal he muttered a few words as his tattoos quickly glowed and dimmed in what seemed to be an instant. As he slowly lifted the window as he began to listen into the conversation that the young vampire was having.

"If the meeting between the two vampire lords go well, we could see our clan being merged with his own and gaining a bigger family." A smooth silky feminine voice spoke out. The voice was like a wave that flowed across the room, and one that made Ramses worry as he focused his gaze on the soul of the boy and them to the voice of the woman. Where there wasn't a soul of any kind. Worry shooting through Ramses he became on high alert as he took a silent calming breath.

"Yes Morgana, we would gain a bigger family. One that when the timing is right, we can merge with your clan and become the rival society to that of the night." The man spoke in a soft fluid tone as he moved closer to the window. "And then we can take out the elder bloods that won't bend their knee to our cause. And spare those that do."

"Such an ambitious thought from someone of your stature. And having been a recent turned at that. And for this to work, you have to speak to no one about such matters. Can't have the Morave nor the Xeres being suspicious of you or the possible influence of my family." The feminine voice said in response. "But until then you Corey, play nice and enjoy your time with your new family."

"And you stay safe in dealing with the night. And may the gods bless you." Corey spoke as the essence of the other voice vanished into thin air. Turning away he headed for the door, taking the chance Ramses took a deep breath as he appeared inside of the room grabbing the younger vampire and slamming him into the dark oak wood floor.

Crying out in sudden pain Corey looked up to see a man with bright green eyes before him as sudden fear gripped at him. How did he get in here? Who was he?

Quickly rising up only to be stopped by a silver bladed scythe to the neck Corey glared at the man as the fear grew within him even more. "Who are you?" He spoke in a shaky voice as the blunt end of the scythe was pressed into his neck as a burning pain shot through him as he clenched his teeth from the sudden intense pain.

"I am a Grimm, and I have come to punish your family." Ramses spoke in a cold dark tone as he raised the scythe as he prepared to swing it down upon him.

Corey's eyes widened as he willed himself to turn to mist and appear on the other end of the room as he quickly grabbed the candle he had lit to have some light in the room picking it up and staring at Ramses with wild eyes. "You will not be killing me here!" He yelled as he began to hurriedly mutter a incantation under his breath as the fire began to swell up.

Keeping an unamused look on his face Ramses readied his scythe as the vampire sent a ball of fire hurling his way. Lunging forward Ramses slid under the flames of the fireball the intense heat of the fire scorching his skin with a burning intensity. Rising up Ramses spun around and swung the blade piercing it through the gut of the young vampire as the fireball hit the door causing a mighty explosion of fire to shoot through the room.

Corey cried out in pain as he coughed up blood from the burning and piercing pain that shot even more through his entire being as he stared Ramses down with an enraged glare. "You will die a horrible death you monster" Corey spat blood at the Grimm before him as he was slowly raised by the scythe as he caught the glimpse of the fire that was supposed to hit him spreading through the room.

Being sent flying through the door of the room Corey cried out in pain as the flames quickly began to spread along the walls of the estate. Trying to crawl away from the man who had began attacking him out of nowhere he tried to cry out for help as he felt the cold hands of death near his body chilling the intense pain that he was in.

Gasping out as he felt the pain suddenly stop and a cold sensation go further through his body as he slowly looked down to see the scythe protruding from where his heart was a he glanced back to the man as fear completely gripped him. "I-I didn't want to die." He cried as tears slowly slid down his cheeks before he lost the energy to hold himself up as the life he had left slowly left him.

"A lot of people do not want to die. That is why there are organizations to make it happen" Ramses spoke softly as he readied himself moving deeper within the Xeres estate.
