Making his way through the manor after about thirty minutes in search of Ryzen. Julius and Mila searched through the lower floors of the manor. Accompanied by Draven. Moving slow as to not be completely taken by surprise if there was another round of ambushing to be taken place.
"Where could he have gone.." Mila muttered under her breath as she looked into a room with walls littered with enough weapons to make a maniac happy. That or someone who just really liked to collect weapons. If not both.
"Trying to look in places we know he would have gone seems to be doing us no good.. especially when time is against us." Julius muttered in response keeping his eyes and ears attentive in case anything, or anyone were to try and pull a fast one on their small group.
Although it seemed like it would be a bad thing. The combat potential amongst their small three person group was enough to make any chance of victory for their enemy a direct and painful struggle. Even without the help of a matching force.
"Maybe he is in a place that no one would think he would go? Or maybe someplace limited for those only a select through can actually enter?" Draven tiredly suggested his wounds definitely slowing down his pace amongst the two highly trained warriors.
Out of all of the members of the Xeres family Julius had gotten the chance to meet and have a chat with. It seemed like the family was separated into sects. Those who were made for fighting, and those meant for something completely different. Regrettably Julius had spent too much time groveling over his inability to save the life of one of the most important vampires to their clan he hadn't actually had the chance to really learn about them. And that is something he hoped to change.
Taking a deep breath Julius kept his senses open as he took a quick breath before walking out of the room and going down the hall. Looking around observing every aspect of the hallway. It honestly surprised him that there was almost no sign of Ryzen. Almost like he had disappeared from existence. Making his way further down the hall Julius found himself back into the room he had arrived in just a handful of days ago, after he had teleported back from the attack on the Xeres manor.
Glancing around the room looking for a sign of use, or even some kind of residue from the spell Ryzen had used. Letting out a aggravated sigh he turned making his way back to where Draven and Mila stood.
"Who did we send to check the upstairs?" Julius asked the two, who just glanced between each other.
"I think we sent Roman and Marcus to check the left hand portion of the upstairs and Tyra and Vigo checking the right hand portion." Mila responded after a moment of painful silence. "We should go meet up with them they should be done with their sweep by now anyways."
"Here's to hoping they found any clue of where that bastard went.." Julius spoke in a low growl as he began to lead their group back to the main foyer of the Morave Mansion.
Finally arriving in the main foyer the group looked and saw Tyra and Vigo sitting at the base of the stairs waiting and nursing injuries they had obtained in the battle.
"Any luck finding him?"Draven asked the two who looked up and quickly standing straight giving respectful nods.
"Unfortunately there was nothing of him to be found...like he vanished from the face of the planet...at least for our portion of the search." Trya spoke in a low, almost hushed tone.
"What of Roman and Marcus?" Draven then asked as Tyra looked up the stairs.
"I don't know..they should have been back by now. Maybe they are being extra thorough." She said in response to Draven's question.
Looking at each other Julius and Mila both grabbed their weapons and began to walk up the stairs slowly.
"Where are you guys going?" Draven asked after the brother and sister duo who honestly made him glade he was on their side. He wouldn't stand a chance being against them.
"We are going to go handle the issue that is Draven. And we are going to make sure that he gets a death he wishes was fast." Julius said in a sour tone as he continued on his way. Walking down the hall keeping his eyes and ears peeled for anything he might encounter along the way.
"You ready for this Julius?" Mila asked as she walked besides her brother. Taking a look at her brother, he held a look of unbridled rage hidden under the soft features of his eyes. His face had a hardened look that was almost, twisting as if becoming the monster he was forced to become.
"Ready to kill more of our family...? Not in the slightest." He said in a low tone as he continued to walk down the hallway. He stopped slowly, raking his hand through his hair taking a deep and shaky breath. "After all of this is over we are going to take some time to clean up all of this blood." He continued on jokingly.
"What is with the joking?" Mila asked as she tilted her head giving her brother a weird look. What was going through his head? He never usually joked about things in the middle of a intense moment. Yet he did.
"Sorry, it was in bad taste...I hope that Angelica is going to be okay.." Julius said making the truth of his true worry more than out to the world. He was worried about Angelica, and in truth he wanted to see her safe.
"That's so sweat of you to care about her. But it also makes sense since she is going to be your wife in the near future." Mila said as a loud thud rattled through the hall gaining their attention as they looked towards the end of the hall.
"If the near future decides to be quick about how much they want to make us look around for someone." Julius growled as he rushed down the hallway towards the door at the end of the hallway.
