And Then There were Three

Some years had slowly passed in the Morave manor. As the Xeres finally managed to settle into their new home, and had finally acclimated to sharing the space with the other family. Things eventually became more permanent as the Morave and the Xeres families soon, merged into one big clan. Currently known as The Morave-Xeres family.

Angelica walked slowly down the hallway holding a small bright pink bundle within her arms. Rocking it gently within her arms. "Come on Aurella let us go see what your brothers are up to this night." She said in a soothing tone smiling brightly at the baby in her arms.

Continuing down the hall she looked over the railings of the upper floor that overlooked the second floor to see two little boys running around laughing with glee. And being chased by a six foot monster of a man. Who also laughed quite happily.

Snatching up one of the boys in his arms. The boy squealed with childish happiness as the man looked up the Angelica and gave her a soft smile.

Walking down the stairs she went towards the group gently placing a kiss on the mans cheek and ruffling the head of the boy in his arms.

"Having some fun with the boys dear?" She asked the man with a smile.

"Well it was either that or letting them crawl all over you and Aurella" Julius said ruffling the hair of the boy in his arms. "And I figured you needed your rest all things considered"

Smiling wide Angelica raised the hand of the small child in her arms and gently waved at the two boys. "These are your brothers Aurella. They will always be there for you when me and papa won't be able to" She said looking past Julius to see her sister and mother in law.

"Glad to see you are doing well all things considered with you giving a live birth" Her mother in law said with a half smile as she approached the group. "How are my grand children doing today?"

"Good Good!" The boy in Julius' arms said with his wide smile. The boy had matte black hair that was like a display of it trying to escape his head with how messy it looked. The boys name was Marcus.

"Good amma!" The boy at the legs of the adults said with a matching smile. He had light brown hair similar to that of Julius and Mila. This boys name was Julian.

"And how is Little Aurella? Is she being quite the handful?" Mila would ask holding out a finger for the small child to possibly grab it, if she wasn't asleep that was.

Chuckling slightly Julius patted his sisters back. "Maybe next time sis, one day one of my children will grab ahold of your finger. And you will feel the amazing feeling it gives."

Mila would then elbow Julius knocking the air from his lungs into the space around them. Wincing Julius chuckled as he looked to his sister with a pained smile.

"You are lucky you have your cute children shielding you from the wrath of me." His sister would then say before looking to the side with a pouty look on her face. Which in turn caused the adults around them to laugh at the sight not too often seen.

Mila usually was stern and well composed around most of their kind. And even around family where she could be more internally and externally herself. It was something that Julius had always internally asked himself about, but one thing he never thought to ask his sister personally. The answer was probably something he didn't want to think about. Given the things he had gone through in his own life.

Turning his gaze to the three children that were around them. Julius gave them a small smile as a thought slowly brought itself forward within his mind. A thought that made him chuckle out loud. Earning the confused gazes of the adults around him. Shaking his head he placed a gentle finger against his daughters head the thought continuing to float through his mind.

These three. These three amazing children. They were going to bring forth a new future. But that was probably the way fathers thought of their children. But there was no way of telling with these three. He just had a feeling about them. They hadn't even done anything special with their lives, and yet, he just looked at them with a sense of proudness. The feeling wasn't all to familiar to him in all sorts of ways. But that was probably something that had to do with being a parent. At least that was what he was telling himself.

Julius would look at the group around him as he took a deep but calm breath that stabilized his calm mind. He was at peace. Peace surrounded by family. It was a good feeling. And it was one he wanted to stay in for a long time to come.

As the scene began to fade away from the family of the Morave-Xeres Manor it quickly shifted towards a dark and foreboding circular room. full of a total of 12 figures that sat around the outside of the circle. As it moved towards the inner part of the circle. There sat a singular throne. Where there sat a single individual. He had decently long and sleek black hair that was complimented by a velvety red and black dress clothes, along with several gold and black pieces of jewelry. The man himself looked like he was in his early twenties to early thirties, yet no true signs of the blemishes of age. He held the look of a man who was completely in health, and had the bodily physique to keep up with most. The one thing to note of the man, he had pure red eyes with dark void like pupils that held the look of authority and power behind them. A look the pierced every single individual in the circular throne room they sat within. The king of the vampires. Who for the longest time went by the name Vlad Dracula Tepesh. Sat in silence upon his mighty throne surrounded by the various 12 Vampiric lords that he surrounded himself with.
