Running down the the cave system, Aurella and Luna hurried away from the sounds of chasing insects. Things were continuing to get from bad to worse for them. At least that was what they were starting to realize with each passing moment.
Taking a deep breath, Aurella began to recite her incantation while running. Trying to say the words in a correct order to get any sort of flame forming.
But nothing was coming forth. It was as if there was some sort of interference, keeping her from casting one of the simplest spells out there.
"Are the bugsys getting closer?!" Luna would ask Aurella loudly breaking her out of what little concentration that she had.
Honestly Aurella couldn't tell if they were getting closer, or if due to the massive number of insects were just that loud to sound close.
"I can't tell!" Aurella would say loud enough for Luna to hear her. "But we need to keep running and put a distance between us at least until I can cast the spell!"
Nodding as if expecting Aurella to see it. Luna would look around and start getting ideas. What if she asked mister Cloud for a hand?
Stopping in place she would smile. Well after being trampled by the girl behind her that is.
"Why are you stopping Luna?" Aurella would question Luna, who seemed to just ignore her for a moment. It only she could see the almost fear inducing smile Luna had on her face.
For Luna to be smiling like this meant that she had something in mind. And that something typically had something to do with annoying the man she owed her life to. In a nice childish, and playful manner. It was something that she enjoyed doing from time to time. And even now, after he had said that he no longer had anything to do with her. But there wasn't really much of a choice for her at the moment.
Reaching into her back pants pocket, Luna would fish around for a moment until she felt, the rather thin metal rod that was in there. Pulling it out of her pocket she would smile wide. For she had hopefully found their way out of this situation.
"Don't worry Aurella. Luna has found our way out of this situation. You only has to trust her." She would say giddily as she would then begin focusing on the thin metal rod in her hand. Almost as if waiting for a phone call to go through.
"Okay I guess...? The bugs are getting closer though. Maybe we should start moving while you do your thing?" Aurella would suggest.
"Oh right...Almost forgot about that. Let us get back to running while Luna makes her call!" She would say grabbing Aurella by the strap of her dress and taking off running with her. Being dragged like this wasn't her favorite way of being made to follow another, but it was what she had to deal with. Especially if it left both of her hands free to be able to cast the spell.
Aurella would take a deep breath as she began chanting the spell again holding both of her hands close together as they ran. Feeling the air between her hands begin to vibrate almost to the level of humming. It was quite a familiar humming to hear which signaled that the spell was beginning to work well without a hitch. Taking a chance to clear her mind some she would begin to finish the incantation of the spell as a small ball of fire slowly formed between her hands. Dimly lighting up the space around them enough for them to see where they are going.
Sight returning to Luna's eyes she would smile before looking back to Aurella and realizing that she was grabbing her by the strap of her dress. Revealing a pink polk-a-dot bra which had lay hidden underneath it. It wasn't her intention to cause the girl to unwillingly flash someone. But it was the first thing she could grab ahold of. So she did, and did it without a second thought.
"You know I can hear the embarrassing thoughts going through your head right Luna?" The familiar voice of Mister Cloud would say almost out of no where. And for her and her alone to hear. It was a thing she had grown somewhat used to over time. But it still made her jump from the surprise of not knowing when he actually picked up her call. She would call him whenever she felt lonely, which was honestly quite a lot when she was travelling from place to place in the dark of the night.
"Hello Mister Cloud. Luna happens to be in a predicament where she was randomly kidnapped by a big muscle man. And is now in a dark cave where she has no clue where she is going. With a girl who is named Aurella. Apparently she is a good vampire who knows a bad vampire. Don't know about that stuff. But anyways, Luna was wondering if you could help guide us to the basement area of Aurella's home. If that wasn't too much to ask." Luna would say loud and proud. Not even thinking of how Aurella would react to hearing her speak to no one in the near vicinity of them. Almost as if she were talking to the darkness that surrounded them.
There would be a pause for about a moment or so as they continued to run with the dim light of the fire to help guide them. Before Mister Cloud finally decided to respond. "This will be the last time I help you okay Luna? You need to develop some independence and solve problems that you somehow get into yourself. But since you still need to actually find your way into the Morave Manor. I will lead you underground. But I won't make it a easy path. You got it?" He would say with a tired sigh. Almost as if she woke him from her slumber. Again.
"Luna gots it Mister Cloud. Lead away!" She would say almost giggling to herself sounding like the crazy woman that she was.
