Julian would continue to stare at the woman before him, a look of pure shock washing over his face. What was she doing here? Especially dressed like that? "What are you doing he-"
"That doesn't matter currently Julian. What matters currently is you getting up and finishing the fight." The woman would say cutting him off. A small irritated look playing at her eyes.
"What do you mean getting up and finishing the fight? I am still conscious. Aren't I?" Julian would say confusion racking his mind as he began to look around noticing the darkness. As it shifted around the two like a thick mist. There were no grey-tones he could make out. Which was something any vampire could do from a young age. To counteract the need for a light when it came to missions and training.
And for there to be no form of grey tone around them, was something that was naturally impossible, and usually the effect of magic.
"We are in your subconscious. It is safer for me to talk to you here than it is out in the open around Boris. Especially as things are." The woman would explain as she placed a gentle hand on his cheek. Her touch although it was ethereal, held a gentle warmth. With a aura of beautiful radiance around her. A air of grace emanated from her, that gave a oddly calming feel. It was the most unusual thing. For someone like her to appear like this. In a place such of this.
"I don't understand. What do you mean that we are in my subconscious? I was just fighting Boris." He would say in confusion. Trying to wrap his mind around her words. How could he be in his subconscious if he had just been taking hits from Boris just a moment before? Unless...
"He knocked me unconscious didn't he?"
Giving a subtle nod she would glance around the dark subconscious of his. Frowning a little bit at the sight of the pitch black darkness that surrounded them.
"I never knew your subconscious was so bleak and empty. Kinda explains how you can be." She would say teasingly taking light of the matter at hand. But she had always been one to do so, even if it was during the worst event possible.
"Enough discecting where we are. I need to wake up so I can beat Boris." Julian would say in a tense tone. Thinking of what he could do from his subconscious. Anything to at least jump start his bodies movement once more. But nothing he knew could do such a thing. Nothing he was capable of was enough. Even with his skills and abilities, how had he hoped to keep up with someone who outputted damage like Boris?
"You do need to beat Boris..." The girl would say her voice beginning to trail off. "But does he need to be beaten yet?"
What kind of stupid question was that? Of course he needed to be beaten now. Especially the damage that would be done if he was allowed to do what he was going to.
"Boris needs to be dealt with. Before he gets to-"
"Don't say that name!" She would yell the void around them shaking from the force of it. Such a display of power. Was enough to shock him. This was power that he had never experienced before, he was unsure if his father was capable of something like that. Given that the man never mastered magic. But insisted on his three children learning as much of it as they could. Or be faced with a wealth of disappointment.
The air around the woman literally vibrated with now that he noticed it. How strange. How could he have missed something such as that?
"Okay, I won't say the name." Julian would assure her holding out his hands in front of him ever so slightly. "Just don't force choke me."
The woman would freeze for a moment listening as he let out that uncharacteristic slip. Julian? Making a pop culture reference? She thought he hated human society so much that he wanted nothing to do with it at all.
"You like Star Wars?" She would say her mind. Like a mass of cats. Was all over the place, yet focused on the red dot moving on the wall. And in this case, the red dot was him knowing Star Wars.
"And you better not tell anyone. Don't want people thinking that I am a nerd." Julian would say sheepishly earning a even more shocked look from the woman.
"Myst hasn't found that out yet has she?" She would ask causing the man to stiff at the mention of her name. Usually her name didn't bother him. Yet right now. He was showing a look of embarrassment he never really showed before. Along with a look of uncertainty. "Right. Bring that up later. So do you want to wake up and be the dark lord master Skywalker?"
Groaning out loud he would shake his head before giving her a small smile. "I will get you back for that later. But yes. I want to wake up and kick the shit out of Boris."
"Good. Because this is something you would never usually take up something like this as a offer. If it were the typical scenario." She would say giving him a small smile. Walking over to him and placing a gentle hand on either shoulder. Her warmth flowing into him. Along with unexpected tears beginning to stream down her cheeks.
Raising a confused brow to her. Julian would begin to speak. Only to be cut out by her simple nod of her head. Before placing her forehead against his. The warmth would continue to spread more and more through his body. As the dark miasmic void began to be engulfed with a bright radiant light.
Blinking Julian would find himself waking up in a small puddle of his own blood. The immediate pain he found himself facing was quickly subsiding. And whatever injuries he had sustained, quickly vanished as if nothing had ever happened. This was a chance he was not going to waste. Not for the life of him.
