Giving Mercury a small smile, Salem would wince as the nurse once again pulled hard on his stitching. "Can you please stop pulling so hard miss?!" He all but whimpered in pain. As the nurse gave another hard pull.
"Forgive the sister Salem. She isn't known for her subtleties, she's known for quite the opposite in fact." Mercury would say before excusing the nurse and her cohorts from the room. Leaving the room with only him, and the deaths alone in the room. "I am not one to shy away friends. But there is a large mass of angels trying to force their way into the compound."
"It seems even with the immunity we have in hunter towers isn't even enough to make our pursuers turn away this time." The man with brown hair would say stroking his chin thoughtfully. "I really hoped we wouldn't have to use the alternative method we had put aside for a rainy day." He would continue before looking at Mercury.
"Alternative method? what do you mean?" Mercury would question seeing the obvious smiles on the faces of the conscious Deaths. Was there something they had over on the Angels that they didn't even know about? It wouldn't be a longshot to throw out there.
"The less you know Mercury. The more we can continue to ensure each other's safety." Salem said with a breath of relief as the Nun who had been more particularly interested in harming him than treating him, left him as she finished up his sutures.
"That doesn't sound foreboding at all." He responded his voice thick with sarcasm. Before letting out a tired breath. "What is the real reason that you guys are here?"
"I had a vision, and that vision took place here in Japan. So we are here to investigate it. And something tells me it is connected to the new Grimm you have in your service. Connected to the Vampires."
"I do not like the sound of that..." Mercury sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. Pausing for a moment as he thought he began to taste copper. Only to realize that he was just beginning to form a migraine. One charged by a number of things piling up. And now he really had to worry, since vampires were somehow involved in this.
Which last time the Vampires were apart of a major global event. They had sunk the biggest ship in history at the time. And Created literal ghost towns in the eastern front of the great war, and during the crusades.
"Neither do I. Considering the fact I only saw a girl. With blonde hair. There's no way of knowing if she is a the cause or effect of the vision. But I hope to find out. And I hope to find out as soon as possible." Jake said in a low tone searching the ether with his powers before looking back to Mercury.
"Do you mind us borrowing your pent house for a few nights?"
"Not at all. Friends of Xavier, are friends of mine. Take it you need it ASAP?" Mercury asked knowing what the immediate answer would be.
"Yes. And we need to have access to your silvered weapons, and things that may help with dealing with vampires." Jake said standing slowly as arcane symbols surrounded him and the other Deaths that were in the room. "Think you can manage that?"
"Of course I can. I'll have what you guys need by tomorrow night. Gotta make a few calls."
"Thank you Mercury. You have always been a great help. I'll pay you for everything when I get the chance." Salem said giving Mercury a nod before all of them where whisked out of the room with an act of powerful arcane magic. Leaving just him and a handful of nuns remaining. Standing in the presence of a newfound awkward silence.
Things were going to definitely start sucking if the Vampires finally decided to make their moves. And he wasn't too excited on what the prospects of it meant.
