Beagbury Village

I've been traveling for a few days now, during this time I've been trying to use my weather manipulation.

I want to form a platform of air for me to stand on and use it to fly, I got the idea from Black Clover, when Yuno uses his wind magic to fly on platforms.

I haven't mastered it yet, but after repeated failures I accidentally did something else. While trying to make the platform I accidentally launched myself using the air currents.

I bursted outwards and was ejected from my attempted platform. I took this idea and used it to make my own burst of speed.

Think the Flash Step from Bleach. I decided to practice on this instead and keep the wind platform on hold for now. This technique I decided to just call 'Burst Step'.

Pretty simple name, but it gets the point across.

The way I use it is I make a small platform where my foot is about to land, after my foot hits the platform the wind bursts out the opposite side, this not only blows wind out from under my feet but propels my foot as well.

I haven't perfected it yet so I can only cause myself to burst towards a short distance, I try to also make myself more aerodynamic in the process but I still need more control.

Thankfully my sacred gear doesn't work on my own Mana and more on my body's concentration and stamina.

With this new technique I was able to rapidly decrease my travel time and increase my practice of the technique.

.....I still crashed into some trees along the way though.

The Sun is lowering towards the ground as the day will soon end,

Exiting a tree line I see a small village, I decide to scout it out first before entering,

The village seems to be a crude military outpost, the outpost seems to have been made by the local feudal lord.

I know I have entered 'The Kingdom of Lott' as the local feudal lord decided to join up under him.

I decide to enter into town after activating a few runes impeded in my cloak, The runes activate changing the color of the cloak entirely black and also making it stand out less as it makes people subconsciously avoid noticing it.

I enter the town as the sun starts to go down, most people turn to bed at this time as without electricity, only candles keep light. Candles can only be used for smaller uses and people don't work out at night mostly due to superstitions and lack of light.

I see some signs around and soon learn the name of this small village, Beagbury.

I decide to sleep out in the wood for the day. I exit the village and Burst Step until I'm about a few miles outside of the village.

I swiftly set up my camp, using the Zenith Tempest to manipulate the Earth and make a basic crude shelter, I then proceed to gather some firewood and also set it aflame.

I hum to my own tune as I take some cool pork I froze from a boar I hunted a few days ago on the way here, I left it in my small expanded spatial storage pouch before taking it out.

I slice it into some pieces before using some branches as skewers and laying them by the fire.

I began to cook the pork until it crisps I put some basic spices for flavor as the smell begins to permeate throughout the forest..

I soon take the skewer from the fire and blow air on it to cool it down, as I'm about to take a bite I hear the trees nearby rustle,

"Fufufu~ what do we have here, have you brought a delicacy for this handsome one?"

I proceed to process what the hell I just heard before looking up at this...thing.

I see a small creature that looks like the misshapen child of a rabbit and a monkey. My face shrivels in disgust before it opens its mouth once again.

"Hehe~ I see you have recognized this handsome one?"

"What the FUCK are you...?"

"Hehe, you can call this handsome one, FeeFee the Puca....

....Now are you going to feed this esteemed one some of your rations?"

What the fuck did I get myself into today with this.....shameless.....puca?
