The second outbreak was even more deadly, scientist found that the Husk virus was the most aggressive virus to man it mutated extremely fast making it hard to come up with a vaccine. So instead of stopping the virus they wanted to try and control it, they did many test on the virus each time changing it and making it stronger. Then someone by the name of Dr. Simon Virgil found that introducing the virus to radiation changed it mutating it even more.

March 14th, 2014. 9:30 PM.

Government black site. Washington D.C.

"Dr. Vigil this is insane if the council finds out about this they will have our heads."

"You worry far to much Ed this is what we get paid for. They wanted us to find a way to control it, but we have to learn just how far it can mutate and this is the way."

"Yes but the sample is unstable we don't know what it will do to the subject.....sir as your friend I have a bad feeling."

"Ed as your boss and director of this facility I order you to prepare the subject."

Ed new something was wrong he felt like this wouldn't turn out well. The test subject was already a husk, Vigil wanted to see what would happen if he injected the mutated virus into a subject that had the older virus.

"Guards bring subject #37 to room 5."

"YES SIR!" "YES SIR!" the two men said.

A few minutes passed before the Husk was brought out by the guards. It had faded eyes and looked weak but it was as aggressive as a rabid dog, it looking at everyone in the room trying to grab for a meal.

"Doctor the subject is ready." the nurse said in a worried tone.

"Let's begin." Vigil said in a calm manner. "Ed the syringe."

Ed handed the doctor the syringe and the doctor began extracting the new mutated Husk virus. He then moved to towards the strapped down Husk and injected the virus into the arm of the Husk. Within the first 3 minutes the Husk changed drastically, originally the people that turned Husk looked like their selves just feral. Now the Husk appearance has changed the hair all over the body started to shed and it's eye had turned bright purple and it's skin turned light grey almost white. Then it's behavior had gotten more aggressive and it seemed stronger as it thrashed about on the table.

"Dr. Vigil this isn't right we should terminate." Ed said in a scared tone.

"I understand your worries Ed but we must study this new behavior."

While the two doctors argued the Husk started to thrash harder and harder till the table it was on fell over and one of its arm's came free. The two guards in the room moved towards the table to turn it up right not realizing that the Husk had a hand free it clawed at the face of one of the guards.

"AGRHHH MY FACE!" the guard fell to the floor in pain.

"HOLD ON JIM!" the other guard said as he re- secured the Husk. "WE NEED A MEDIC!" the guard said in a serious town.

But within seconds the guard died from just one scratch. Nobody could understand what had happened it was a scratch it wasn't even that bad. Then the Husk on the table started thrashing around harder then be for. Ed was checking the pulse of the dead guard, while the Husk on the table broke free again this time with both arms free and it grabbed the nurse biting down on her neck. As the nurse screamed the dead guard awoke and grabbed Ed by his lab coat sinking it's teeth in to his shoulder. Ed yelled in pain screaming for help while the other guard fell to the ground in a panicked state as he grabbed is firearm from his hip he was grabbed by all the Husk in the room witch made him pull the trigger of his weapon "BANG". The bullet found it's mark into a oxygen tank exploding sending shrapnel into the wall and cracking the safety glass of the room. Dr. Vigil however had already left the room sealing the doors and started taking notes. Within 3 minutes everyone in the room was a Husk, Vigil noted that a scratch could now turn someone and it took a full minute and a bite was almost instant transformation less then 30 seconds.

"Dr. Vigil what happ.... OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED!"

Vigil didn't say a word instead he watched the new Husk as they starred back at him with purple eye's of death. He watched his friend die and showed no emotion he didn't seem to care like he wanted this to happen. Dr. Vigil then walked off telling his subordinates to clean this up. As he said that the Husk started charging towards the glass smashing into it with what seemed like the force of a car. The glass only held for 2 minutes and the Husk we're free in the facility killing everyone they could find. While Dr. Vigil was collecting the samples of the newly created Husk virus in his lab alarms were blaring. He walked calmly down the hallways while talking to a helicopter pilot to start preparing for flight. Vigil was following behind a small group of his staff then they stopped when they entered a door stopping seeing many Husk. Vigil seeing this took it as a chance to close the door and latching the lock keeping the Husk busy as he escaped to the rooftop.

" WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IT THERE EGGHEAD!" the pilot said in a worried tone "Is anyone else coming?"

"No just me." Vigil said in a calm serous tone.

"NOW FLY!"
