we're not going to make it." Lisa said in a exhausted voice.
"JUST KEEP RUNNING!" Clayton yelled.
"THERE'S NO TIME, WE NEED SHELTER!" I yelled.
I looked at the sky again, seeing the 5 bombers approaching fast, then I looked around seeing nothing that would protect us from the impending doom. Clayton on the other hand had found a place for us to take shelter in, he pointed at my crowbar and at a manhole cover.
"The sewer? but we don't know what's in it." I protested.
"We are out of time we have to."
Clayton was right we didn't have time but I didn't have a good feeling about it. I ran to the manhole cover and pulled it off with all my strength, by then some Husk had caught up with us.
"You guys go first I'll go help Clayton."
Clayton had already taken down five Husk already and I two others, our mother had entered the sewer and Lisa was next, but it was to late. It was like time had stopped, all I could do was watch the bombers fly over us dropping death from the sky.
I remember cluster like bombs hitting the ground all around my siblings and myself, and the darkness after. I couldn't tell how long I was out when I awoke, the city was destroyed and parts on fire, I had survived the bombing, but not unscathed. Blood was pouring from my head down my face getting in my left eye, and I had a burn from my right shoulder going down my back, the smell of brunt skin almost made me puke and the pain was unbearable. I could feel my legs but I couldn't stand so I had to drag myself, it didn't take long to find my sister laying on the ground with blood coming from her back, she wasn't dead but without help she would be. By that point I was starting to lose consciousness, I remember seeing my brother coming out of the sewer with a angry but sad pale face.
"Br...brother." I said in a small broken voice before passing out one last time.
