All that happened was me getting questioned by the teacher as to what happened, and when I told her that Stella had pulled my chair from under me, she sighed, then said, "I am so happy that's what that whole thing was. I was beginning to think you had gone from being a good student to a bad one. I'm not surprised, she seems like one of those kinds of people. You aren't in trouble, just please, make sure you're aware of what's happening around you, alright?"
"Yes, ma'am. Thank you."
I was walking out of the building to go home, when neighbor dood drove up in front of me with a bunch of his friends, and asked of he could drop me off anywhere. Guess he realized I don't own a car.
"Wait, you're a senior, yet you don't have your own car?! That's sad, man." One of his friends said while looking at me. "Well, I bet someone out there pities you and gives you rides home, so," he laughed, and with that, Neighbor Dood sped off, leaving me in the dust.
I finally got back to my apartment, and when I was looking for my keys, I realized I had left them in my locker. I hit my head on my door a few times, then turned to go back downstairs. I jumped when I saw Neighbor Dood and one of his friends standing there, then blushed from embarrassment from what I had just done.
"What, locked our of your apartment? Hahahah, sucks to suck, I guess." They proceeded into the place next to mine, and I ran downstairs and out the lobby door. I was hoping that the school would still be open by the time I reached the front doors, if I ran, and luckily for me, the door opened, and I went to find my locker, when all the lights turned off. 'Shit, please tell me they aren't locking the building.'
Heh, guess what they did- Locked the doors, leaving me inside the building. Not knowing what to do, I screamed and kicked a locker that was next to the door. Man, today just wasn't my day. I thought I'd be fine if I got inside the building, since, from what I know, the doors aren't supposed to lock from the inside. Then, I heard a noise down the hall.
Now, me being me, I obviously went to go check out what the noise was. I ran, and when I turned the corner, I saw a figure go around the other. "Hey! Whoever you are, get back here, please! I just wanna leave, alright?!"
I don't know how, but, I was finally able to catch up to the person, and, you wanna know who it was?
Fucking Neighbor Dood. (I really need to find out what his name is, man-)
"What the fuck, dude!? Why are you doing this shit?! What the hell did I-" I was cut off when he grabbed my arms and pinned me on the wall next to us.
"Listen here, newbie. Don't ever question my motives, got it? I don't have to answer to you." He released me, and when he turned around, I quickly took the keys from his hand and kicked him to the ground, and ran towards the front of the building. After a few tries, I finally found the correct key, unlocked the door, then ran back towards my apartment.
I took my keys out and opened the door, slamming it closed behind me. I leaned against it for a second, taking a breather. I started to head towards the kitchen, when I realized I never went out to buy stuff for food. 'Fuck, man. I just wanna relax', I mumbled to myself. 'I'll just go out tomorrow after school.'
I went to the bathroom, took a long shower, then went back to my room to change. I looked in my mirror and saw my scars, and I cringed. Man, you'd think I'd be used to this by now. I quickly changed into an oversized T-shirt and shorts, and when I was about to get into bed, I heard my phone ringing, so I looked at the caller ID, and saw Jake's name. I immediately answered, and man, was I happy to hear his voice again.
"Hey girl, how's life been treating you?"
"Jake, I want to come back home. I hate it here, everyone sucks, and I only have one friend here, who hasn't been at school lately. I'm so alone..."
"Whoa there, Libby. Even if you live on the other side of the country, you still have me. Now, tell me what happened to make you this way."
I told him everything I could remember, and while doing so, I had started crying, and I guess I hadn't realized that I was being really loud, cause I heard someone on the other side of the wall yell at me to shut up.
"Man, your life sucks. I'm sorry I can't be there with you while you have to deal with this..."
"It's fine, as long as I get to talk to you, I don't care. You're probably one of the only people who have actually been nice to me."
We finished talking, said our goodbyes, and when he hung up, I just sighed really loudly.
God, I can't wait until I graduate.
