I stopped reading at Chapter 23. FL is just all bark and no bite. All she does is whine, whine and whine some more. Goodness girl, you need some pointers from Ye Wanwan on how do defend yourself me thinks... As for the ML... He's a rapist. Even raped her not just once tsk tsk tsk. Is it justified because of some misunderstanding from the past? NOPE. Is it okay because he's the ML? Absofcknglutely NOT! He's a tsundere you say? Pfft more like an impending tsunami to me 😩

SAD STORY: A little boy was so jealous of his new born brother so that he put poison on the n*pple of his mom. The next day their driver died.

The synopsis sounds wrong. Like the really wrong type of wrong. If I’m getting this right then....the ML pushed the FL to another man and raped her right before her engagement with the man he faced her then he kept raping her afterwards....? I mean if I hope I’m wrong. I hope the novel will turn out better than my expectations.

Not sure why stories where the ML supposedly love the FL can contain so many rape scenes. I don’t like how it is being normalized. The ML may be protective, scarred from his childhood experience, and whatever else we can throw to make his actions seem “justifiable”, but let’s be straight with this. He kidnaps the FL against her will and then rapes her repeatedly. The story then attempts to blur this truth by adding scenes he’s obviously helping and taking of her. This is wrong. Rape is rape. There is nothing he can give her to justify it.

Another rapey story where the female lead is forced to give her body to the bastard male lead. Aside from the toxic relationship, it doesn't really have much else going for it. There's plenty of stories like this on Wa**pad, for anyone wondering. Better to read the free versions where your comments will reach the author.

Oh I thought we’re done with the abusive MLs? No? Just another abusive, cold and cruel yet protective ML who realizes his mistake and etc etc etc. Seriously? Is there no one else who could’ve been the ML?

Y'all at this point I'm copy-pasting my own reviews because of how copy-pasted all of these "romance" novels are. This is actually horrifying. Rape in the first chapter is already a bad sign. I don't know why all these writers think this counts as "quality content." Is unconsented marriage "quality content"? Is harassment "quality content"? Is rape "quality content"? Why can't a woman just live her own damn life and make her own choices? Are these authors all just 30 year old, single men who enjoy projecting their disgusting fetishes onto their writing? I'm tired of seeing all these strong FLs getting tossed around and turned into sparkly-eyed mush by pointlessly handsome man-childs. Women are MORE than this. It isn't worth reading. It's better off in the incinerator.

The synopsis is cat fishing for readers.. The FL is all bark and no bite as mentioned by the other reviewers. I am looking forward to more misunderstanding and drama.

FL is raped over and over by ML. There isn't anyway to turn this into anything but grooming a victim to stay a victim. Nothing else is really good about the book besides the quality of translation.

i only read the first three chapters and honestly i really liked it but i’m so invested in the other book i’m reading so after i finish i would love to read this book

This chapter 42 is annoying why can't she just tell him how she feels and get over the hate charade issues that she can resolve easily the slow development in the Story is killing the zeal,the ml is too arrogant and self-centered

Only a masochist can favor this type of story. The ML rapes her again and again. I can't figure put just because he had sad past, did it give him license to torture an innocent?
