Trial details
I willed the scythe to go back into the tattoo and the massive sickle then disappeared from my sight and so I check my Qi Sea, and the tattoo was glowing.
There was a slight isolation and desolate feel about the scythe that had spread into my body, but it didn't corrupt my mind nor soul, it was almost like it was caressing my aura and soul. I thought back to my past life at that moment.
Through reading countless novels and gaining enlightenment from them, I had turned cold in my past life and had disdained the mortal coils that had entrapped me into the suffrage of my karma from which my family had a part in, now I seek to break free from that coil, break free from the light of karma that 'blesses' me from my past life. This is my new life and i'm not going to let anything happen to me that I have no say in.
That is my determination, and anyone who disrupts my path will be met with an untimely end by my hands.

Waking up from that stupor. I had a new reason to get stronger, and I would need to do it in the most effective way, which was to devour everything. When I had devoured the Void Essence, I had noticed that my foundation would never be disrupted by the massive intake of Essence and that I could just basically devour everything and level up fast.
The only drawback of this is that I cannot absorb Human Souls a lot or I will lose some of my sanity, but upon reaching the Spiritual Refinement realm, I would be able to prevent that from happening by cultivating my soul to the purest form.
Chen Xiao had told me that reaching that level means that I would be a heaven defying genius as there is only about 1 in 1,000,000 chance of that happening, which is why there were only about 5 every hundred years, and they were recluse old monsters that had been cultivating their whole lives.

"Alright, after this I will be in slumber for about 5-10 years so as to recuperate my lost energy" He said. I was feeling a bit down to hear that, but soon recovered.
He had told me that I would be going to a Lower Realm first, so as to let me experience battles and to reach the higher realms as this was just the lowest Realm that there was. It was called "Sky Empire" as the Realm used to be one of the highest, but hasn't cultivated a genius cultivator in millions of years and had then been moved down to the lowest ranking Realm in the world.
He had also mentioned that the power classifications were based upon something called Martial Spirits, which I remember being something that humans were born with and couldn't change, some were animals, and some were tools, there was a large range of things that they could be. Chen Xiao had told me that I would learn about them upon reaching the continent and that I would be given a Martial Spirit to accompany me as the world would automatically assign a spirit upon reaching the world as the Heavenly Laws willed it.
There was 5 Empires in this Realm and that he didn't know where I would start out as, as all he would be able to do was open a portal for me to get to the Sky Empire and that alone would expend all of his strength.
