Void Connection
There were many companies like my family's such as being a monarch over the drug industry, except my family's company was also different from some of the rest, such as them dealing with the black market. I had only recently learned of this after researching the company.
I had always thought that there was something suspicious going on since their company was about nineteen to twenty years old. The age matters since there would be a drastic difference between a company that had been running for about 80 years compared to one that was running for about 20 years in total and having the same net profit as the ones that were 80 years or older.
There have been a few small news reporters and even a few bigger ones that were trying to un-cover the secret behind the rise of the 'new' company as it was unprecedented that there could be a company that would rise to power in that short amount of time.
Either way I have some new information to go off of later on in my plans as I could guess that they probably wouldn't hesitate to hire some Hitman or Assassin if I had ever revealed my face before the time was ripe.

I decided to put those thoughts into the back of my head for now. I planned what I had wanted to and had even made a few more plans just in case something went wrong as they always do in these situations.
I had gotten a room on the fourth floor of the hotel, there was a TV and free Wifi as I had wanted. There was a few inhabitants of the rooms in front of me and beside me, so I decided to keep it down for now.
I decided to stay here for a few weeks because I wanted to research everything that I could about Jessica so that I would be able to account for more unsuspected surprises.
But for now I decided to go and get something to eat, it was about 7:00 AM in the morning and there was free breakfast that I heard was pretty good so I decided to try it out, tho I didn't necessarily need it for now, as I had eaten something from one of the KFB's on the street corner.
There weren't much fancy restaurants in the small cities in this State. There were few gangs and hoodlums in the state, but not as bad as the other more populated state of Detroit.

I decided to form a connection to the void so that I would see if I would be able to cultivate as the Qi on earth is so sparse that it would be surprising if I could level up to level 4 by 5 to 10 years, roughly calculated.
Chen Xiao had given me the technique to form a connection to the void, it wasn't that difficult as the void is everywhere and nowhere at the same time, out of touch between space and reality.
It wasn't that difficult as all that I had to do was form a connection to my Spirit Form in the void and then cultivate from there, whatever happened there crossed over to here from the void. I could even control my spiritual body from here if I given enough of my willpower, but I would have to reach Spiritual Refinement.
I felt that my Essence was increasing while I was connected to the void, but the process was a bit slower than when I was still in the void as some of the Essence has to be used by the connection to sustain it. I might be able to cultivate without meditating, almost like having someone else meditate for me which I decided to try out. It took about an hour for the process to succeed and that it was exactly like someone else cultivating for me. Except the Essence gained was decreased while I wasn't meditating
I decided that after I had gotten strong enough then I would go an explore all of the mysterious places on Earth and to see if there was anything that was left behind by the previous cultivators of Earth. I had then remembered that there was a mysterious place on earth called the Bermuda Triangle.
When I had gotten powerful enough later on I want to start my journey, as I had wanted to have enough protection for then as you never know if there was any powerhouse cultivators that could even match a nuke in terms of fist force, some could even destroy other planets and stars if powerful enough.
There were some people in Earth's tales that had ascended to immortality, but that was far away from me for now so I decided to put those thoughts into the back of my head for now and pay attention to the matter at hand, where would I find money to buy a warehouse on the edge of the city?
I decided to go and lurk out for some gangs, tho their money was from corrupt means, there was a mass amount of fortune to be had there and I could get the information as to why they had targeted Jessica so that I would be able to utilize it myself.
