 A glorious reign over the realm only to be hunted, a glorious return only to be haunted. Avery Hall had a fair share of experience when it came to the many layers of humanity. 
 


With the death of our real world in the future, everyone gets digitized and becomes... well, Immortal. To a degree.

But how to do you spend immortality?

Video Games... of course, with everything being digital... and with Hyper Advanced A.I... it's possible to create games that simulate what reality used to be like.

 Our story takes place in Starduster MMO, a fantasy based MMO game where the game's story is run mainly by player choice, with any choice being an important factor into anything.

Our main point of view is Avery Hall, who specializes in the Sniper Class, a long range damage class that uses a Rifle. He is quite efficient at making use of all he has available, and is kind of a jerk.

Avery also has been preventing the Progress of the game by holding on to a Key Artifact, other players find out about this and after a while decide they don't want him around anymore.

 While normally death lowers levels... his reputation is too low within the game and he gets banned, luckily he has a second account, as most V.I.P. users in the world do...

 Avery, swears to return the status quo, but maybe he'll be good this time... hopefully, habits take a long time to stop.

 So we join Avery's journey to get back to the top, just make sure he doesn't forget to properly transfer accounts.

StarDuster - Glory of the Umbral Avenger

 Its been an hour now, I know because I fucking counted. What the hell is going on?


    What the fuck is happening... did the Neolithid guy forget to send me back to StarDuster? What an asshole if so...


         I hate this place, it hurts just to exist here now... the walls being inside me and all that, and now I can't even talk to system like I was able to an hour ago. Well, I guess that leaves time to uh... I don't know... think about things.


   I need to get some things off my chest, and this empty void is the perfect place to vent. 


         I... don't know how to feel about... well, everything that has happened since I've been... well, reborn as Cobalt. I'm basically a different person then Crimson, my attitude and thought process are proof of that. Since Crimson had the duty of being charmed for however many years... be it 27... 60... or hell, if its already been thousands of years. I don't know!


 I'd have to count the speed time flows in the H.U.B. compared to reality, then StarDuster to that... and I have neither!


        Forums don't help, all I see on them are... wait, I can see the forums!


      If I'm on the Forums... I could probably access... well, its basically Google... but of course it isn't. I guess the scientists that could digitalize the human mind couldn't afford to get Google running,  anywho... I search up various things to help me keep track of time.


         However... the clock isn't ticking. Its not counting the time, I'm not sure...


       I guess I'll try some other things.


       Well, its just spinning wild... 


There isn't rhyme or reason to this place.


   I'm concerned I may never leave, what if I'm stuck here forever?


             How long have I been awake?

         After counting 57 hours, I realised my name started appearing on the forums... and to my delight, it wasn't negative.
