So. Let's see what's up.

I rub my blind eyes once more as I wake up, immediately hitting my head on something above me... metallic, I guess I am in a bunk bed. " Shit. " I say under my breath, above me it seems Jotun recognized I woke up.

J - " Finally deciding to get up? "

- " Yeah. So I assume we are on the ship correct? "

J - " Yep, it's been three days. "

- " So you guys did negotiations with the captain correct, what's the terms of our stay? "

J - " Don't fuck with the crew, help out with some of the crew's duties, protect the ship from Draking Pirates or Dragons. "

- " Dragons? "

J - " Yeah, Draking ships are made to hunt Adult Dragons. Usually they store their corpse on these as well, as such it reeks of Dragon. Meaning, every once in a while a Dragon will show up and try to kill us. "

- " Ah! So that's why it's called a Draking Ship... Drake is another word for dragon of course, I see... alright, but why hunt Dragons in the air when there are plenty underground? "

J - " I don't know much about it, I'd recommend asking one of their butchers or chefs... but for now, you should probably eat something. I'll get you something from the Cafeteria... would you like Stew or Jerky? "

- " Ah no, don't go out of your way for me... I don't need anything "

J - " ... You. Haven't. Eaten. In. Three. Days. I am getting something for you to eat, if you like it or not. I am not about to have you starve to death, you barely eat at all anyways... look at yourself, you look starved. "

- " ... Fine. I'll take jerky. "

J - " Gotcha, I'll also bring a water for you... your voice is so... raspy. "

- " That would be great. Should I come with you? "

J -" No. You are going to stay in this room for 2 days. Even if pirates or a dragon shows up you are going to stay in here, got it? "

- " What-?! Why-! "

J - " We have no idea what is wrong with you, so we gotta take preventative measures until it gets better. "

Damn it... I can't just tell them about Umbra... fuck....

Why can't I tell them about Umbra?

Well, I can't afford to worry them... this Umbra thing along with Assimilation is MY problem, not theirs in the slightest. No matter what they say about sticking together, I can't let them. I just... can't... ugh, there is no use trying to explain it... I just, don't want them dealing with my Shitty past.

They can know about stuff like how I was Crimson and how I hate Origin but... I just can't have them learn about Crimtane or the Seven who killed me.... if they do, well... they have a tendency to hyper focus on stuff like that.

I have to deal with that myself.

So, now... how do I make them not worry about my situation... jeez, it's been a while since I lied... can I even do it well anymore?

Jeez... well, I guess I should just wait for Jotun to get back with the Jerky...

How do I entertain myself for 2 days? Well... for one I could potentially...

I am going to see if I can still craft without my sight, obviously bid projects that I am not experience in like Cars shouldn't be possible... but if it is something like a gun, I have plenty... plenty of experience. I could fix a laser rifle back on earth in my sleep, making a fire arm? Child's play, especially considering I learned how to do it when I was 7.

All that experience fixing and making guns wasn't wasted, it helps me to this day surprisingly, shows what you know Mrs. Buia ya foakin Broad.

... Oh. Oh yeah. Mrs. Buia was a... she was the lead of that... ' Good Time House '. I don't really get why she was determined to have me stop making guns... Old Bo love my guns, he'd buy them whenever I made a new batch and I was his go to repairman since the riffling incident with the other guy.

Heh, these memories are coming back. Hell yeah.

Alright! Let's make a sidearm. It's been a while, and I can't say I'll ever need it... but, it will help.

I'll base the design off an Old ' Dead Man ' handgun, it was a relatively popular pistol... especially considering it fired at the power of a Anti-Material rifle while only being the size of an average handgun, crazy enough I still find it hard to explain how it works... Modern guns function differently than they did in the past.

Something like a Barrett M82 fires bullets that contain the necessary propulsion, smokeless gunpowder, whereas rifles of the modern day fire straight up Sticks of Metal, the main propulsion being within the rifle itself. Why? I can't explain it, in fact it shouldn't work much at all. It should be FAR to heavy and have FAR too much recoil with a rifle based propulsion system... but, I guess by some miracle...

Wait never mind I remember.

It's magnetic based propulsion, they made some sort of alloy of metals that had magnetic properties but still fit the requirements for forging into guns. The alloy became a super magnet when compressed which was done by... I wanna say nano machines but that likely isn't true... though, Scarab could likely help me in that way... it would be technically an upgrade.

Alright, So... I know Jotun will be coming back any time, so I probably start working on the small stuff for now, eat, then finish.

Let's see if I still remember how to do this.

Breathe in... and out.

| Engaging Crafting Protocols. |

Let's begin.

The barrel starts at around the length of two fingers, diameter around the distance of about half a finger... this will be a big gun, either way... the loading system should be... there... now the screws... wait... I don't need screws... I got alchemy, hell yeah... continuing on... there should be a compartment for computing parts, though... I don't need that either-! Haha-! Who knew making guns with fantastical elements is a ridiculous and fun exercise that completely undermines all of our knowledge about guns! Now then... I should be prepared to insert the other parts by propping open the cover...

Alright, we got the base parts needed.

Should I do the { Perfection } and { Soul } techniques?

Wait why is that in weird brackets?

| I did it. |

...Thanks for the heads up...

Alright, I guess I might as well... unlike swords though, this technique used on Guns is MUCH more difficult. Not only do I have to make all of these guns exactly the same, but they must all also follow the same restrictions of using souls in general.

Alright, I'll save this for later... now, to eat.
