Empty

The streets infront of me were empty. There was no sound, no one was there. There were clothes scattered everywhere. I didn't know where to go, but I had to find somewhere to stay.

At the very end of the road, there was a small house. The inside was dusty and cold, but it was far enough from the castle. I found a small blanket sitting next to a wall, so I picked it up and fell asleep on the small wooden bed. I could only hear the sound of crickets as I fell asleep.

The dream I had before came again. The lady watching the stars, the man talking to her, and the man finding her, not moving. This time though, I didn't wake up. He yelled to the guards and his heart ached in pain.

"This is your fault golden bow! Your fault! I will never forgive you!" He yelled. I could feel his anger, his hate. I woke up breathing heavily, unable to calm down. Who was the last golden bow? What did they do?

I heard a crash outside and got up quietly. My heart began to beat faster as I moved closer to the door. I slightly opened the door, but no one was there, so I walked outside.

I had to get back to Grandma's house. I only knew how to get to the Kingdom of Light, so getting to Grandma's house was going to be a challenge. I closed my eyes and imagined Grandma's house, the old barn, the forest I've always wanted to explore, and the little pond in the backyard, but nothing happened.

"Come on Lily think!" I said frustrated.

I tried for hours, but nothing worked. My frustration grew and daylight was fading. I sat for a while thinking until I figured it out, the Sky Kingdom. That's where he's going, that's where I need to go.

I summoned the golden bow, "Alright, I know this sounds crazy talking to a bow, but I'm desperate. How do I get to the Sky Kingdom? That voice in my head? Where are they? Can they help me?" For a while there was nothing. "Please, I need your help. The Sky Kingdom is in danger and I can't help them while I'm stuck here."

"But you are safe here." I heard the voice say.

"I'm safe no where, the shadows are looking for me and soon they will find me. How do I get to the Sky Kindom?" I wasn't going to give up.

There was no answer, so I asked again. "Please! I need to help them while I still have the chance!"

"Fine!" The voice yelled. "Look up child, feel the wind pass by you. Find which way the clouds will move, follow them."

I did as the voice had said. I listened to the wind, I felt the cold breeze pass by me, and there it was, the Sky Kingdom.
