Kylie woke up to the sound of chirping birds outside her window in the big tree. She yawned and looked at the time. It was almost 6 A.M.. She tried going back to sleep but failed so she got up and took a warm shower then went back in bed. A few minutes later her alarm went off followed by her mom shouting from downstairs.

"Kylie, get up its first day of school!"

"I'm already up!" She shouted back.

♥Kylie's POV♥

I got up out of bed and put my hair in a neat bun. Then I brushed my teeth and put on skinny jeans and a pink blouse that has "love never dies" on it. I ran downstairs to the kitchen where I found my mom making pancakes. I sat down at the table.

"Morning," I said as I sat down.

"Morning sweety slept well?" My mom asked.

"Yeah," I replied.

She served me my pancakes with chocolate syrup on it. I was so excited. It was first day of school which means first day of 8th grade. I know I made it to 8E which is the most brilliant 8th grade of the 5 8th grades at my school. I was almost finish when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," I said as I got up.

I went to the door and opened it. Outside was my friend Tina.

"Hola!" I said which means hello in Spanish.

"Hola!" She replied with a smile as she walked in.

"So are you ready?" She asked.

"Yeah, mom is taking us," I replied. Then my mom came downstairs.

"OK, guys I'm ready," she said as she took up her car keys. I took up my bag and my house key and went to the car.

The journey to school was 15 mins and before we knew it we were at school. I attend Knox college (the k is silent) it is not a college it is a complex of schools. Kindergarten, elementary,high school and college. So they just call it Knox college. I go to the high school part. The school is very huge you can easily get lost if you don't know your way around.

We got out the car. "Bye mom," I said as I kissed my mom on the cheek. "Bye mom," Tina said and she hugged mom. We share mom ever since her mom died in a car accident when she was 10. "Bye sweets," my mom said as she drove off.

We went inside school and into the auditorium. The principal went on stage and started talking. After the principal's boring speech we were instructed to go to our new homerooms. Me and Tina made it to 8E along with some other kids we know. Me and Tina sat beside each other in the class.

"OK, good morning students," our teacher Mr.Wilson said. He is a cool teacher and loves his way freestyle. "I hope you had an excellent summer. I advise you to have a great first day of school today and do your best. I will be giving out the schedules now."

He gave out the schedules. "You might have noticed that you and your friends have the same classes together. That is because all 8E students have the same classes together," he said.

We went to our assigned lockers. In the hallway everyone was talking with their friends about their summer holidays adventures.

"I went to Paris this summer," I heard someone say. I looked to see who it was. It was none other than Cara the most popular girl in school talking to other populars. She saw me looking at her and she shot me a nasty look that made me hurry to my locker.

"So this is going to be fun having the same classes together," Tina said as she opened her locker and took out her books.

"I know right?" I said. Then I felt someone staring at me. Weird right? I looked across the hallway and saw Ashton the most popular guy in school staring at me. He shot me his oh, sooo gorgeous smile that made me blush. Tina nudged me.

"It seems you have a crush on my crush's best friend," she said smiling like crazy. I couldn't do anything but smile and look at the ground.

♥Ashton's POV♥

I was talking to Leo my best friend.

"So you know I have a crush on Tina, right?" He asked.

"Yeah," I said.

"So I was thinking about asking her out and to my party," he said.

"That's great dude!" I said.

"So do me a favor and tell me if she's alone so I can ask her now," Leo said.

"OK," I said.

I looked across the room and instead of looking at Tina my eyes landed on her friend Kylie. She was wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a blouse that had "love never dies" on it. She looked hot. She looked over at me and I smiled which made her blush.
