In principle, after going stealth, one should move slowly, to avoid standing out from the environment and getting detected. Another extreme is moving at high speed, like stealth fighters—flying too fast makes it hard for radar waves to bounce back, thus harder to detect. The banshees' situation is a textbook example of high-speed stealth.
