Why?

I run away from Alex as fast as I can.

'Why would he kiss me?! We just met! Why?..'

I exit his bed chamber and run into Emily.

"Hey! Will? What's wrong?"

I push past her and walk towards the main entrance.

"Will! What's-"

She gets cut off by who I guess is Alex.

"WILL!! Stop! I am sorry!"

Alex calls after me but I keep running.

I run outside and towards the river bridge that leads out of the castle grounds.

I finally make it to the bridge and run across it towards the forest.

I run for a few more minutes before looking back.

I see Alex at the edge of the bridge staring after me.

I lock eyes with him before turning around and running.

'Why would he do that? He's just like everyone else. Only wants me for sex.'

I slide to a stop by the remnants of a day old fire.

'There must be a gang here...I have to be careful.'

I look behind me to make sure no ones there and start moving again.

I turn a corner in the path and come face to face with a guy with a sword in his hand.

I stat to back up but my back hits someone else.

"Hey, there pretty boy. How's your day been? Cause we're about to make it a lot worse."

The guy grabs me so I start to kick and scream trying to getaway.

'No, please. No this can't be happening again.'

The guy hits me in the stomach with the butt of his sword and I go limp in his friend picks me up, grabbing me in his arms.

"NO! LET ME GO! Please! Please..no. This can't be happening again."

The guy lifts me over his shoulder as I keep fighting.

"PLEASE HELP! ANYONE!"

The one leading - I learned his name is Liam - yells at me.

"Shut up before someone hears you! If you don't shut up I will knock you out understand?"

I shake my head and start shouting again.

There's a sharp pain on my head and the last thing I see is Liam laughing before he falls to the ground.

I wake up once again in a very fluffy and soft bed.

There are voices next to me.

I know immediately it's Alex and a middle-aged guy. Probably his father.

I don't know what they are talking about but I keep hearing my name.

I decide to move a little bit and they stop talking almost immediately.

"Will?"

I slowly open my eyes and see Alex looking at me.

I jump away from him and towards the corner where the bed meets the wall.

"Will it's ok. I am not going to hurt you. And I really am sorry."

I shake my heads and push myself father against the wall.

"N-no! That's how it always is! They- They apologize and then they try to kill me or they rape me!"

Alex tries to reach out to me why I start to cry.

The king speaks, "Alex. It's ok. Let me deal with this. You go check on Emily."

For the first time the king talks.

"But father, I can't!"

The king gets up and walks towards us.

"Alex. Go."

Alex stares at the king before sighing and getting up.

"Yes, father."

Alex looks back at me. "Bye Will."

I watch as he leaves and I am left with the king.

The king moves closer to me before speaking, "Now Will. It's ok. Alright? How about we get you some food?"
