Forgiveness and fighting

The king stares at me.

"Well boy?! Do you want food or not!"

I nod my head.

The king shakes his head. "Use your words."

I push my self farther against the wall. "Y-yes sir, I would like the food please."

The king nods. "MARIANA! Come here please."

An older girl, probably in her 20's, walks in.

"What can I do for you, your highness?"

"Get this boy some food and water."

The servant bows and walks away.

"So boy. You're the son of Gillian?"

I look up at him confused.

"Who Your highness?"

The King nods and mumbles something.

"So you truly have no idea...Tell me, boy. Have you never heard of the prophecy?"

I nod my head. "Yes sir. It's about a prince who falls in love and becomes king and queen. No one really knows what they will face or when it will happen. Some people believe that's a cover-up prophecy."

The door opens before the king can reply.

The serving girl comes in along with Alex, behind.

"Is that all your highness?"

The King nods. "Yes, Mariana. That would be all. William, We will finish this later. For now, I think you need to talk to someone."

The King stands up and walks to Alex.

"Be careful with him Alex."

Alex nods and walks towards me.

"Hi...Will, I am so so sorry. I don't know what overcame me! It just happened!"

I grab a piece of bread and take a small bite.

"Ok. Alex I- I just met you. You don't really know me."

Alex nods. "I know! But I want to know you. Please give me another chance?"

I nod. "Fine. Is it ok if I go to sleep?"

"Of course! You can go to sleep whenever! Let me take the trey."

Alex grabs the trey and puts it on the bedside table and starts to leave.

"Night Will."

"Good night...Alex"

{Switching over to Alex's POV}

I walk out of the room and towards my chambers.

I open my door to see Emily sitting on my bed.

"How's Will? Did he forgive you?"

I nod "Yeah he forgave me. Thankfully, I hope he's ok."

Emily gets up and hugs me.

"I am sure he's fine. Oh and your mom called! She's in the library."

I groan. "Ok."

I open the doors to the library and walk over to my mom and bow.

"Hello, mother."

She points to the seat and I sit down.

"So how's that boy? Your father talked to me and he thinks he should stay."

I nod. "He's doing well. And yes, father thinks he should stay."

My mom slams her fist down. "Well, I don't think he should!"

I stand up. "Mom! He needs help!"

She shakes her head.

"He can deal with it by himself! Now get out! I don't want to see you until this- this RAT is out of my castle!"

"Well, you won't have to see me ever again then."

I turn around and walk away stiffly away.

I slam the library door shut.

I lean against the door before pushing myself off of it when a guard comes by.

I nod my head to the guard and start walking back to my chambers.
