Holy s***

Oh my God.

Oh my actual effing God.

Based on everyone else's expressions I can assume that they are all just as shocked. Oh this is quite the turn of events. I reached into my pocket once more and got out another lollipop. Silence filled the room as the wrinkling if my wrapper filled it.

I stood up from my chair and slowly pushed it back into the table. I then slowly turned and walked towards the door. After a second I started sprinting at full speed to get out.

I have to leave! Now I have to get out! Suddenly a towering figure came into view. Shit! I was running too fast I can't brake!

I cried out as it felt like my face had hit a wall.

"What the hell-"

I stopped talking as I looked up at the person I collided with. Holy shit. Could this day get any worse?

"Where do you think you're going Macy?"

It was Macy's second older brother Kyle. He rested his hand on my shoulder in a way that dared me to leave. I felt sweat bead my forehead. Looks like I'm not escaping anytime soon. I exhaled and smiled sweetly.

"I'm sorry bro, I just had a sudden urge to use the bathroom. Could you please step aside for a moment?"

He smirked. His hair was blonde yet he had the same eyes as me. His features handsome yet cute at the same time. I closed my eyes in fear of being blinded by his light.

"Macy. Be a good girl and go sit in your seat."

Be a good girl my ass! Can he not read the mood in the room? If I go back I am going to be dog food for the wolves sitting around the table.

I obediently walked back and sat down. I shivered as I felt everyone's gazes pierce me.

What have I done in my previous life to deserve this?

"Are there any conditions?"

I looked at my father who was now grinning like a fool. Sly bastard. He probably wants to know if the heir status would change if I died.

My uncle nodded and looked at me with a smirk harboring evil intentions. The fuck? What are the conditions?

"Father has stated that even though Macy is the official heir she must prove herself worthy of the title."

"What does that mean?"

It was the first time my aunt Carla spoke.

"Grandfather has stated that in three days time there will be a letter sent out to each Kiehl family member. The letter will dictate challenges that we must all participate in."

"Why do we have to participate if father's already labeled Macy as heir?"

Okay this son of a bitch of a father was starting to get on my nerves. God above I pity the previous owner. That reminds me. Did I occupy her body because she died?

"Well I'm getting there. The challenges state that if another family member were to successfully complete more challenges than Macy, then she will be stripped of her position as heir. The position will then be handed to the more capable family member."

Oh my God. Did Macy do something to anger this old geezer?

"Max, does the will state the nature of these challenges?"

Max shook his head. Could my father please shut up and stop asking such unnecessary questions? Obviously the letters will specify the challenges dumbass.

The family members then stood up from their chairs and started to leave. I stayed sitting in my chair deep in thought. I wasn't concerned about the challenges. Based on Macy's memories the old men was rumored to love board games, guessing games, and poetry. The challenges must revolve around these aspects. I was more concerned about the possible mistreatment from the other family members during the challenges. During these three days I must distinguish my allies from my foes as well as study poetry and board games.

I clenched my fists in determination. Adrenaline was pumping through my veins. I, Mai Rodgers have never lost a challenge in my whole life. I stood up and closed the door behind me.

Let the games begin motherfuckers!
