"You killed Kakuzu of the waterfall..." Even Danzo could hardly believe what was in front of him. Countless powerful ninja had tried to take this man down, but he always lived on.
There was even a legend that he tried to assassinate the First Hokage, and managed to survive.
"I don't believe it." Walking up to the corpse, Danzo flipped it and checked the visage.
"It's Kakuzu... Without a doubt." Hiruzen said in disbelief. He couldn't process the information, for it was much too shocking.
'Just how strong is he...? Did he have help?' Still skeptical, Danzo's eyes narrowed as he faced Jun. Seeing this, the Chunin shrugged and picked up Kakuzu before heading for the door.
"Soon, I'll go on another subjugation mission. With that said, farewell." Closing the door shut, Jun left the room with confidence, leaving the two men perplexed.
'Just what is going on...!?' Danzo felt like his head was going to explode. First, the Uchiha join the Anbu. Then, for some odd reason, Masaki decided not to call out the Hokage on sending two spies.
And now, a Chunin from the Uchiha clan took down an S-rank criminal, who had lived for longer than himself. With all this happening in a short amount of time, Danzo felt like something was going on behind the scenes. Something big.
And if he didn't find it soon... It would be a catastrophe. He could just feel it.
"Tch!" Clicking his tongue, Danzo quietly left the office.

"Thank you. We'll take care of the rest." Handing Jun an official document, a medic-nin placed Kakuzu on a stretcher before taking him into the autopsy room. Soon, they'd have the Yamanaka's head participate in the extraction of his memories.
'He said to collect my reward next...' Although Jun didn't care about money, with a lot of it, he could maybe buy a gift for Aito's upcoming birthday.
Heading over to the treasury, Jun was greeted by an old man wearing a weird hat. He sat behind a glass wall, with a small opening for transactions.
Passing the document through the small opening, Jun watched as the old man scrutinized it before pressing a stamp on the paper. Getting up from his chair, he walked away, coming back a few minutes later with thick envelopes that had Konoha's symbol stamped on the surface.
Double-checking that he had the right amount, the man passed the envelopes through the small opening and spoke with a deadpan expression.
"Subjugation of S-rank criminal, Kakuzu of the waterfall. Reward, twenty million Ryo."
Picking up the envelopes, Jun whistled at the amount. It seemed like Kakuzu was worth a fair bit of money himself... He basically received the same amount as Kakuzu, had he successfully killed Minamoto on that day,
Although the black market was clearly more lucrative in terms of finances, everything Jun did was legal and under Konoha's name. So the reward for killing Kakuzu --Seemingly little given the effort this required-- Was understandable.
"Is there somewhere I can get a bag for all this cash?" Jun spoke in a curious tone. After all, he didn't want to walk around with wads of cash in his hands, for it would be much too uncomfortable.
"Go to the equipment department. Continue along this corridor, and its the first cabin on the left." Still speaking in a monotonous tone, the old man paid no attention to Jun, continuing with his work.
"Thank you." With a nod, Jun walked through the Hokage mansion's corridors and reached the supposed equipment department. Unlike the closed-off cabin from before, this one looked more like a typical shop, with items displayed for everyone to see.
