Don't let go

We finally make it to the cliff. We quickly gear up and started climbing.

I was careful climbing because of my injured shoulder and the fact that I still haven't overcome my fear of heights.

"We are almost there." Emily breathed next to me.

I felt relieved hearing that.

But I felt a tug like someone was pulling me down.

I tried to continue climbing but I was frozen. Like in control.

Then the rope that was attached to the top surface of the cliff started to drag down.

And I was dragging down with it.

I tried to move I tried to speak but I couldn't.

I felt like I was tied down or something.

My fingers still grasped the open rocks of the cliff.

Don't let go, Amelia.

Emily noticed this and her eyes widened.

"I'm coming!" She said. And climbed down a little bit above me.

She grabbed my hand and tried to tug me up but I was pulled back.

I was mute! I couldn't even speak how can k even communicate with her?

"I know what's happening... uh, hold on." She muttered.

She tried to get me up somehow but, it was a fail.

I went down further.

I wanted to scream.

Emily followed down as well.

She had fire in her eyes.

"I know its Liam. I don't have enough energy to use my powers against him. But..." She bit her lips and before I could do anything, I felt my self falling.

"Amelia!" She screamed.

I thought this was the end and I was about to die.

But someone grabbed my hand.

I looked up to see Noah.

And I was there hanging off a cliff under Noah's hands.

I was either going to die or live.
