I was hanging there, mute and unable to move.
Under control.
"Don't worry, I got you, Amelia." Noah said calmly.
I trusted him.
The Empress came down and understood what was happening.
A few moments later, the tight grip that was holding on to me was released.
I felt myself moving again.
"T...Thank you." I said to Noah and The Empress.
"No problem dear, just hook up to the cliff again and start moving we barley have time." The Empress said.
I tugged my feet on small openings in the cliff and while holding Noah's hand, I managed to get the rope back up again.
"Your safe now... and I'll always protect you." Noah said sheepishly.
I blushed.
I hoped he was joking.
I quickly moved away from him and started climbing.
It took us about twenty minutes to finally reach the top.
But there was no view like the last one. There was a forest full of trees.
But it did have unusual, beautiful leaves, in every color.
"Here." Noah handed me a water bottle.
"Thanks."
After I drank the water, I started walking.
"Wait!" Noah stopped me.
"What?" I asked annoyed.
"There are bats in there I just... wanted to warn you. So don't walk by yourself." Noah explained.
Bats?
I sighed.
I don't know why Noah was so overprotective over me.
Why did he care?
Once when everyone was ready to go, we finally started walking into the endangered yet so beautiful forest.
I breathed before stepping into the forest and waiting for the bats to attack.
