Preparation For Trade
Arden sat down at his desk. Another problem arises as he solved another problem recently. Now, he would need to think about the jungle people.
"What should I do, where should I start?" Arden sat at his desk, not knowing where to start and just contemplating while sitting.
'If I were to make the route by land, I would need to make the road, if I use the river route, I would need to make ships' He contemplates and thought a lot of aspects and things needed to be taken into mind in solving the problem.
H wrote all the pro and cons in a piece of wooden board using chalk, paper is not cheap at that time. He stared at the wooden board after listing all the things there.

He stared at it for a good 10 minutes, examining which one is more beneficial, which one has the most pro and the fewer cons. And that's when a thought came up in his mind.
'I can't let other nobles know about this! They would lead an expedition and probably make the jungle people suffer!' Arden thought of the consequences if he let others knew about the existence of people living in the forest.
He rubbed his chin, scratched his head, and more thinking and planning came into his mind 'I can't let other knew about the people living at the forest, it would be best if the trade is using the river instead of the lands' His decision was final.
He already thought about all the things related to the trade. 'My decision is final, I think it's good for both sides and will of course beneficial for both side' After a long time at his office, since morning until late noon, he finally made his decision.
Almost 8 hours of constant sitting at his comfortable chair, made his legs tremble when he stood up from his chair.
He quickly dropped back down to his chair after the first try "Crap!" He shouted with his voice a little raised as he dropped back down to his chair.

He shakes his leg while staring at it, his hand at the leg of the chair to support him and not shake his body. Followed by a little "Ah!" that sounded like a moan.
That's when a little incident happened. A maid opened the door while he was doing it and saw him staring down and both of his hand at the lower body part and even heard him shouted "Ah" that sounded like a moan.
She quickly closed the door that made a loud thump, quickly followed by her shouting "I'm sorry sir, I bothered you!" and then footsteps that can be heard going further.
Arden, not wanting a rumour of himself doing that kind of things at his own office, quickly forced his own legs and rushed out of the room to chase after that maid.
"Hey, you! Come here!" The maid, having no other choice but to obey her own lord, stopped at the middle of her escape and slowly turned back and saying "Yes, my lord".
Arden saw a woman, with her blonde hair and yellow coloured eyes obeying him. The maid slowly approaching me and bowed at him with her eyes closed.
"I'm sorry, sir!! I didn't mean to interrupt your action!" The maid, still bowing down with her eyes closed, give her apologize to him.
"Look, what you see inside is not like what you have in mind, now… I have a place to be at, have a good day," Arden explained shortly to her and left the place, even though his legs still tremble a little.
He walked around the hall and then he notices, he didn't know where to go "Where to go? Since I wanted to make ships, I need to build shipyard, I think I need to see the master builder" Arden tall to himself at the mirror at the hallway.
���Now, where is the master builder? Hm… ;-;. Since when I appointed master builder, I think I'll go to Lannis's workshop" He set his destination to the old man's workshop near the training yard.
He walked and walked until he reached the place, it's not a small workshop anymore, the workshop now is bigger, at least 3 times bigger since the last time he saw the building. There he saw the enormous gate closing the workshop from the outside world.
He tried opening the gate with all his effort and the gate couldn't be opened no matter all of his effort and power poured to open the door.
He tried once more, now with his full power, he screamed "AHHHHH" while his neck muscle and vein can be seen from outside.
Not long after he began trying for the second time, the door slightly being opened. An opening, barely big enough for him to slip inside the building.
"Phew, that was hard!" He wipes all the sweat from his face and instantly knew why the door is so hard to open.
Even though the place is not small, the space is barely enough for Lannis and the smithing group he appointed almost 2 years ago, before the war against 3 side.
They made all the things the army needed, but the smithing group is not satisfied enough to stop at that stage. They have the initiative built new weapons, armour, horse carriage and even siege weapon!
They built too many things till the point that there is no place to put the things they built at the workshop, the gate simply blocked by one of the siege weapons that has been made.
Arden looked around and start examining the place even more.
The building itself has become a 2-floor building, all the things made storage on the first floor and the people at the second.
Arden examined the place once more and there he could see it, Lannis with a cup of drink that can't be seen from his place standing, "There he is!" He talked as he saw Lannis took a sip from his cup.
Arden rushed to that place, while avoid hitting anything at his way. The place simply became a maze formed by all the things.
Crate of armour, weapons and more things blocking his way. The amount is unbelievable and simply too much until it reached the point it could replace the armour being used now with the quantity of it, "I think the quantity is enough to replace all the armour my soldiers have right now!".
Fortunately, he reached a stair at the building. "What kind of stair is this, it's too steep till the point it felt more like a ladder!" Arden thought a bit and looked around the building once more, "Maybe it's for saving place… No no, it's must be the reason!" Arden continues climbing the stair and finally reached the second floor.
"Phew! Finally reached the second stair!" There he saw all the people, staring at him, some confused and some rushed to him and quickly bowed to him, some even kneeled at the floor.
Lannis did the same as other people, after hearing the commotion all the people making, he peeked from behind the wall and once he saw Arden; he rushed to him.
Lannis simply rushed to him and reached out his hand to do a high five with Arden. Arden quickly accepted it and did a high five with Lannis.
Lannis then turned his attention and said, "get back to work!", All the people gathered there quickly get back to work and Lannis began directing Arden to what it seems for Arden himself, Lannis's office.
There, the blackboard he could see is too many to be counted, all of them almost full with drawings and even words.
Being an adventourous person he is, he approached it and examined it and simply amazed by it. "Wow! Is this drawing for future projects?" Arden asked while Lannis began clearing paper at his own table.
"Yeah, you are right, that is for future projects. Still many things to make, though! Fortunately, I have good subordinates!" Arden still amazed at the drawing became more curious and curious.
"Woah, lucky you! My own subordinates tried to kill me once!" Arden told Lannis about the tale of him almost being assassinated by Haldin last night on the way home.
"Woah? Really? Oh, yea… I have many things to show you today if you have time, make sure to prepare yourself at adventure!" Arden became more excited, he will see what has been made in almost 2 years.
