"Where are all the gods?! They were supposed to be here an hour ago." Said one of the elders.
"Rumors says they are dead now chief." Replied the ambassador of the meeting.
The room went quiet. This wasn't a good thing, not at all. The quiet at meetings usually meant that the eldest god was about to explode. Sure enough, couple minutes later the eldest god started screaming things that would not be acceptable on a news report.
"We need new gods." He said stroking his long beard.
"But, sir. With all respect, we need to simplify and add something new. A goddess of Balance." He said shyly, preparing to get yelled at.
"Why would we need that now, huh?"
"It would stop a lot of the fights if we had someone of balance," spoke a secretary.
"Okay," the eldest spoke, "but why a girl?"
"No offense sir," spoke the ambassador,
"you are even scared of your wife. We need a strong willed girl to do this job."
"I approve of your case," the eldest god spoke embarrased, "don't make me regret it."
"We need to simplify the gods to maybe six types excluding balance. What are the most important?"
"Good, Evil, Strategy, and Elements seem most important to include." An intern spoke timidly.
"Alright, can we add love and... Mischief?" Spoke the ambassador.
"Are you trying to cause problems?!" The eldest god yelled.
"No, they can control the mischief and help crime."
"Fine," the eldest god spoke annoyed, " Terry you can also pick the gods and goddesses since my design is so bad."
Just like that the eldest god walked out in a hissy fit. This left the others at the conference trembling, scared to even start this plan. Looking at each other they all knew they were depending on their lives for this to be right.
"Let's get started..."
