MOVIE DATE II

Kaye just laughed at him with her hand covering her mouth, truth be told, she was really nervous with Ivan right now.

Ivan looked at her face, then her smiling eyes down to her lips. Since she covered her mouth, Ivan could only see half of her face, still he smiled at her faintly.

"Let's hang out next time. It's good to be outside sometimes. I just realized it." Kaye uttered before giving him a beautiful smile. She didn't know what effect her smile would bring to Ivan.

"I'll gladly accompany wherever you." Ivan responded as he casually put his arms around Kaye's shoulder.

Kaye didn't feel uncomfortable at all. In fact, she enjoyed every moment she's in Ivan's arms.

Few minutes after, the movie started with it's wonderful illustrations. Kaye enjoyed looking at animated movies. She likes the graphics and the content of the plot which hooked her so much. As the movie continued, she didn't care about the people around her at all. She didn't even realize that Ivan was holding her hand.

Sometimes she would squeal, she would jump off her seat and sometimes she would blush with how Toothless acted whenever his partner is around.

"Ahhhwww they're so sweet." Kaye murmured as she grabbed Ivan's hand tightly. "Don't you think so?" She turned to Ivan who was looking at her from the moment the movie started.

He saw her smile sweetly, frowned her face, grimaced at the pain for Toothless and so many more expressions. Everything was kept inside his heart. Ivan tugged her closer just like how other couples sit around them.

"Indeed, they're very sweet."

Kaye blushed with his actions but she didn't argue or complained at him. She stayed in his arms before she continued to watch the movie.

"Ivan, will things change between us once you have a girlfriend?" Kaye couldn't help but ask her worry to the man beside him.

Ivan kissed the top of her head before giving her an answer. "I don't think so. I don't even think I'll have her because she likes someone else."

"Let's say, she would really become your girlfriend. Would we still hang out?" Kaye asked once again. As much as she wanted to stay with Ivan, she didn't want to cause him trouble.

Ivan felt an inexplicable feeling swelling in his heart upon hearing her. He didn't want to ruin their friendship but if he won't take the risk, nothing would change. He might even regret telling her how he feels but he would regret it even more if he wouldn't.

"If I would be ask to choose, I would choose you without a second thought. I spent so much time looking for you. Tomo sacrificed his life so I could live to see you. I would never waste this chance." Ivan answered sincerely which warmed up Kaye's heart. She didn't dare imagine her place in Ivan's heart but now she knew that she occupy some space within him.

"Thank you." Kaye murmured in his arms. She didn't look at him because her eyes were damn crying. She tried her best not to sniff but Ivan's sense of hearing was the best, nothing could escape from him.

"Why are you crying? Did you really think I would abandon you? Actually Kaye, there's a chance that you might abandon me, but I won't do the same thing to you. What happened in the past will not happen again." Ivan confessed while patting her back to calm her nerves. His heart was breaking listening to her sob.

"I won't abandon you. It will never happen." Kaye said as she burrowed her face closer to him, wetting his shirt in the process.

She lost her focus on the movie and chose to listen to Ivan's voice. She could even hear his beating heart since she was so close to him. Until the movie ended, Kaye was still in Ivan's arms like a child clinging to her mom.

When the crowd started to disperse, Kaye sat up straight and turned to Ivan with a bright smile. "Your arms must be sore."

Ivan laughed at her comment before pinching her cheeks lightly. "It's indeed sore. How do you plan to compensate me, huh?"

"I don't know." Kaye answered honestly while trying to get Ivan's hand off of her face. "Don't pinch my face. It will become saggy."

"You're still beautiful in my eyes." Ivan winked at her before taking her right hand with his left and held her bag on his right.

"Stop flirting with me. Save your flirting technique for your girl." Kaye pinched his waist as a revenge for pinching her face earlier.

"I'm flirting with my girl already." What Ivan said made Kaye blush profusely. Her face was so red from embarrassment.

"Can you talk normally with me? Stop talking nonsense." Kaye said while she walked beside him, but she didn't lift her head at all.

"I'm not talking nonsense." Ivan defended himself from her retort.

"Whatever young master Harley." Kaye rolled her eyes, calling him with how she used to address brought them to a fit of laughter.

"I haven't heard that for so long." Ivan exclaimed at her statement. "By the way, where's the locket that I gave you?" he asked when he noticed that she wasn't wearing it.

"I put it in my bag when I left the company. I don't want to lose something important to you." Kaye answered while she pointed her finger towards her bag which Ivan was holding.

"That's good to know. Make sure to bring this with you all the time." Ivan said while guiding her back to where his car was parked.

"You don't need to send me home. The driver is waiting for me at the basement." Kaye said when she saw Ivan's car in front of them.

"I want to make sure you're safe. Let the driver go back home. I'll send you back myself." Ivan responded as he opened the copilot seat for her.

"I'll call him." Kaye took her bag which Ivan gave her, then pulled out her phone to let the driver know her situation.

Ivan walked to the driver's seat and sat beside her. He fastened her seatbelt while she's taking a call before doing his. After making sure she's safe, he drove out from the parking lot to send Kaye home.
