Inside the concert hall, the venue was packed full of people waving around glow sticks and cheering as Otsu stood on the stage. The spotlight was on her, as she held the microphone.

"Thank you all for coming to my pooformance!" Otsu said as everyone cheered even louder.

"Pooformace!" Everyone mimicked her.

"What is with these guys? Is she that popular?" Hiroto thought, standing under the stage and keeping an eye out for any miscreants.

"Today, forget about your worldly cares, and just have fun, okay, necromancer!" Otsu shouted out.

"Necromancer!" Everyone copied her and cheered.

"Okay, for my first song. 'Your father is Bleep-Bleep' Please enjoy!" Otsu shouted with excitement, eliciting a large cheer from the crowd.

As the song started, Hiroto thought to himself, "Wait… is this a song that's been aired before? How?'

As the band started to play the beat, the venue erupted with even more excitement, with the stage lighting up and Otsu starting to sing.

"Bleep-Bleep!! Bleep-Bleep!" Otsu sand, as the crowd chanted at the same time.

"Oh lord, what am I doing here?" Hiroto thought, facepalming himself. "At Least no one I know is here, so I'm still saf-"

Hiroto looked up, making direct eye contact with a familiar figure who had white and wavy hair.

"..."

"..."

"Uhm, I swear that I have a clear explanation for this," Hiroto said to Gin, who had a disgusted look on his face.

"Oh? Do you? Are you sure you're not here because you love idols and cheering for them, sleeping at night with a body pillow, whispering, 'Oh, Otsu, please, take m-"

*WHACK*

"Shut your face!" Hiroto smacked Gin across the head. "And you're one to talk! Aren't you here as well?! What happened to that old guy."

"Ow ow ow, the damn oldy wanted to come here, of all places." Gin said, pointing towards the old man from the prison, cheering and singing along with glow sticks in his hands next to Kagura, doing the exact same thing.

Hiroto sighed and said, "Whatever, besides, I was kind of roped into doing this. I just wanted to see what all the fuss was about, and next thing I know I'm working as a bodyguard."

"Sureee." Gin said, with a crooked smile. "Wait till I tell Shinpachi, 'Did you know, that Hiroto is really into this one idol, even becoming a bodyguard just to get close to her' "

Hiroto smiled and said, "Do you want me to end you?"

"Pft, it's all fine. I believe you…" Gin said, looking away to the side.

"What? What's wrong." Hiroto asked, looking to where Gin was staring at.

"L-O-V-E O-TSU-U" A group of men wearing a blue coat, baggy pants and only having bandages wrapping around their stomach chanted. They had a white band tied around their head, dangling behind them.

At the front of the group, was a familiar-looking Odd Jobs member, shouting instructions to the group to follow.

"Louder!" Shinpachi yelled out, looking stern.

"Okay!" The members of his 'group' replied, and continued chanting, "L-O-V-E O-TSU-U"

"Hey, pay attention! Shout it out!" Shinpachi snapped and pointed to a member at the front of the group.

"Sorry, Chief!" The group member replied.

"Hey, since when did you become their captain?" Gin asked, standing behind Shinpachi with Hiroto next to him.

"I've been a captain of Otsu's fan club from the day I was born!" Shinpachi said resolutely, clenching his fist.

"Ohh, really? You're even their captain, that's quite impressive." Hiroto said.

"Huh?" Shinpachi muttered, turning around. "Gyahh! Why're the two of you here?!"

"I'm on the job," Hiroto said, crossing his arms.

"Besides, that's what I'd want to know. What are YOU doing here?" Gin asked. "You go for this teeny-bopper crap, just like Hiroto too?"

"I already told you, I'm on a job!" Hiroto said, about to whack Gin again as he jumped behind Shinpachi.

"I can do whatever I like! I'm not a little kid!" Shinpachi retorted, shaking Gin off of him.

"You there, please don't leave your seat. Oh, Hiroto. It seems you already have this covered." Otsu's manager, Ichi, said with her arms crossed.

"Hm, you know the manager, Hiro?" Shinpachi asked.

"I told you, I'm here for a job. I'm acting as a bodyguard for the concert today." Hiroto said, shaking his head. "Besides, this guy's part of the fanclub and was just a bit too enthusiastic."

Hiroto pointed to Gin, who smiled and nodded to the beat of the song. "Oh, you're from the fanclub? Then that's fine. Today is her first live show, so we have to make sure it's a success." Ichi said, looking at Otsu performing on the stage.

"Today is her debut?" Hiroto asked absentmindedly.

"Of course! It's her great debut day, and we all have to support her!" Shinpachi shouted, causing the members of the fanclub to cheer in response.

"L-O-V-E O-TSU-U" The old man in front of them chanted loudly, catching Ichi's attention.

"You," Ichi muttered, with her eyes widened.

"We do-do! Huh?" The man turned around, looking back at Ichi as the two kept staring at each other.

Ichi furrowed her eyebrows and said, "Hiroto, drag him out." She then led the way out of the venue and into the halls.

Hiroto shrugged and walked up to the man. "Too bad, but a man's gotta make a living these days." He then grabbed the man by the arm and dragged him out. Surprisingly, he didn't give any resistance.

Reaching the hallway, Hiroto let the man go, watching him walk over and taking a seat in front of Ichi.

"Oi, what's up with those two?" Gin whispered next to Hiroto.

"Who knows, could be an illicit love affair," Hiroto replied, as the two peaked at the pair.

Watching them, Hiroto turned and said, "Whatever, I'm not interested. It's probably just some character introduction, but I don't want to listen to it. Besides, the author is too lazy to write it all out."

"Whatever, suit yourself." Gin replied, peaking and eavesdropping on the conversation of the two people.

Hiroto walked back down between the stands as the audience cheered, sang, and danced to Otsu.

Looking at the fanclub, Hiroto saw Shinpachi still leading the members to chant and wave their glow sticks around. On the far left of the group was a large Amanto, staring mindlessly at Otsu singing and dancing.

'Hmm, that one gives me the creeps. Better keep a close eye on him.' Hiroto thought.

"Ah! Hiro!" Kagura shouted from behind Hiroto, pulling on his suit.

"Hm? What's up, Kagura." Hiroto asked.

Kagura asked him, "Did you come here because you have perverted thoughts for idols?"

*whack* "Shut up you idiot! I'm here as a bodyguard!" Hiroto yelled out, as Kagura rubbed her head.

"Owwww. Hey, where did Gin and scarface go?" Kagura asked.

"Hm, they're at the halls. Don't mind them, just go enjoy the concert." Hiroto said, walking down between the stands and scanning the crowd.

"Roger!" Kagura said, saluting and going back to singing.

*huff puff* The large Amanto standing next to the fanclub started to breathe heavily.

"Ahhh! I can't control myself anymore!" The Amanto shouted, raising his arms in the air, causing the people around him to flee in a panic.

"Kyaaah!"

"Run!"

The audience members all ran away, as the members of Otsu's fanclub tried to hold the Amanto back from running towards the stage.

Hiroto turned around and shouted, "Kagura! Run out to the hall and tell Gin to come!"

"Roger-Dodger!" Kagura saluted, running out to the hall.

Hiroto jumped onto the stage where Otsu was as she sat down on the ground, the band and staff members had all started to flee.

"Hey, kiddo. You alright?" Hiroto asked, sitting on the steps next to her.

"I-I can't move. My legs won't move. What'll I do?" Otsu asked in a terrified voice.

Hiroto patted her head and said, "Don't worry, that's what I'm here for. Besides, I'm sure there's someone stronger than me already about to come to your rescue." Hiroto smiled, tucking away a manga into the back of his suit. On the cover of it read, 'Gintama's Guide to Character Backstories'.

"I'm so hungry." The Amanto muttered, grasping his stomach as a big mouth ripped apart the bandage wrappings, growling for its next prey. It's tongue's dangling out of its mouth, wanting to pull her into its mouth.

"Otsu. Become one with me… In my stomach." The Amanto said, blushing.

"Kyaaaah!" Otsu yelled out.

"Why aren't you doing anything!!" Ichi yelled out towards Hiroto, who still sat on the ground.

"Hm? That's because of plot." Hiroto mumbled.

A man with a paper bag over his head ran forward, stopping in front of Otsu just as the Amanto reached his hand towards her, stopping him.

"Otsu, run away, quickly!" The man shouted.

The numerous tongue's from the stomach stretched out, attacking the man and pinning him onto the wall.

*THUD*

"Welp, time for me to step in," Hiroto said, cracking his neck. Hiroto

"Go! We've got to protect Otsu!" Shinpachi shouted, with the rest of the fanclub running behind him.

Hiroto took a run up and jumped into the air towards the Amanto.

"Huh?" The Amanto muttered and was about to swat Hiroto away. Hiroto raised his eyebrows and sent his right leg forwards, kicking his arm.

*BOOM*

The Amanto was knocked away, spinning, as the force from the kick carried his arm across the hall.

"Go on, Shinpachi. Finish the rest." Hiroto said, landing on the ground.

"Oraaaaah!" Shinpachi yelled out, jumping and swinging his wooden sword onto the Amanto's head, knocking him out.

*BOOM*

The Amanto fell back, crushing the seats and stands under his body. Hiroto sat back on the ground, as Gin and Kagura came to him.

"Well, you two sure took your sweet time," Hiroto complained.

"What's the point. You're already here, so there wasn't a need for me to move." Gin shrugged, turning to the masked man and throwing a bouquet of flowers towards him.

"It's not quite a million, so you'll really need to talk em up." Gin said, walking away with Shinpachi and Kagura.

The man looked at the flowers in his hands. "Bastard. There's no way she'd remember that promise." The man said, under his breath. Turning to Otsu, he kneeled in front of her and handed the flowers over.

The man then turned away as she accepted the flowers, walking back through the stands. Hiroto watched him walk away silently. As he reached the door leading out, Otsu shouted out.

"Um… next time, bring roses, okay? Until then, I'll be waiting on the stage, Dad." Otsu said, smiling.

The man didn't say anything and left the hall. Ichi held her face mumbling, "That man, always has to interfere." She gave a slight, sad smile. "Too little too late."

Hiroto stood next to her and said, "It's never too late, for a parent to support their children."

Ichi turned to Hiroto and said, "What parent. He's just a criminal."

Hiroto smiled and said, "Yea, just your typical criminal dad."

Later on, the concert continued where it left off as the police detained the Amanto and took him away. Otsu's father as well.

Hiroto stood next to Gin as the concert was again underway, with the audience coming back, dancing, and cheering.

"Quite an eventful day, isn't it?" Hiroto said.

"Yea." Gin muttered.
