Outside

Out of instinct I turned around to find the danger. As I turn my head around, I am brought face to face with Kade.

I jump out of his arms. Then he starts to laugh. "Kade Alexander Peru, are you trying to kill me!?" I shouted at Kade. He had a big grin on his face as if he had actually done something good.

"Calm down babe, now your naked and Red." He giggled as he looked me up and down. I quickly grabbed a towel to cover myself. "I thought you were sleeping, we're you faking?" I searched his eyes hoping to catch one glimpse of his little lies-

"Shouldn't have screamed, I'm a light sleeper." He said with a shrug on his shoulders and walked out. He thinks he's all smug like that, wait until I don't feed him. Then let's see what he'll do. He won't be able to survive. You can't live off of other people, he'll have to depend on no one but himself here.

The next morning.

I woke up as usual, Kade was Lying next to me on the bed. Sound Asleep. I got out of my bed, I grabbed my robe and walked out of the room.

It was barely 8 in the morning. Last night I tossed and I turned but I could never fall asleep. I walked into the bathroom and I looked at my reflection in the mirror. With just one night without sleep I had huge eyes bags, I looked like I hadn't slept for weeks.

I grabbed a comb and started smoothing out my hair. I knew this wasn't like those books where the girl always wakes up with perfectly straight hair. I knew my hair didn't very much like me, and everyday in the morning I brushed my hair out to make sure I had it smooth.

Once I had brushed my hair. I quickly changed into a outfit. It was a simple outfit, a Light grey sweater, with some leggings. I wasn't going anywhere today so I might as well stay comfy.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen. With every step I could feel a burning gaze on me, but I never once stopped to check it out. I hopped to the fridge, and took out a nice cold water bottle. I had decided to continue reading that book from last night. Since I hadn't had the chance to finish it yesterday, today was perfect in my schedule.

The girls were still sleeping so I had plenty of time before I had to start with my daily chores. It almost felt as if I were a normal person, someone who didn't have to worry what anyone else thought of her. Someone who could go out to the shops without having strangers following her.

Someone who didn't have to be so dirty. Raped and used like a toy, living with the result of all those dirty things. The world has uses me like a cloth, and now that the cloth is dirty, they've thrown it away.

I watched her make her way to the Kitchen. Seeming so carefree. As if she didn't have a care in the world. She had not slept an inch yesterday. He could feel her tossing and turning all night. It caused him not to be able to sleep either.

He wondered what could have kept her awake at night. What was so alarming that caused her not want to fall asleep. Was it him? Did she have something on her mind, yes, but what?

His mind wandered off to a different place. A place where all he could think of was her. Her beautiful red hair, or her piercing eyes. She was almost perfect, but he knew that was only on the outside.
