Be my maid pt.3

Ryota carefully observed the five girls in front of him from head to toe. Two of the girls were already on their maid costume and were the trained ones and the other three were in causal clothing. Among them, only one of them was from a rich family and was a trained maid, the other one was a trained maid from the famous maid academy and the rest were commoners. As Ryota was looking at the candidates he noticed one unusual stare at him.

The cold sadistic look the girl was giving was enough to rival that of Akane.

"Sakuranomiya Maika-san, right?" Ryota asked awkwardly as the girl hurriedly nodded turning to a pretty cute looking girl. "Um, do you know me or something?"

"I am sorry." Maika suddenly apologized, "We haven't met before sir."

"Relax." Ryota said, "So why do you want to be my maid, Sakuranomiya-san?"

"Umm... I have been trying to find a job so I can go to study abroad and I had an acquaintance suggest me to this job." Maika shyly explained looking at Ryota's hair rather than him, 'He really has silky blond hair.' she thought to herself.

"But this isn't a part-time job, you know." Ryota explained, "If you work for me, you'll probably be stuck with me for a long time. Though going abroad is possible, and we can manage a tutor for your studies, you'll still totally be together with me."

"I can go out to other countries?"

"Of course, since you'll be my aide, you'll follow me on business trips all around the world."

"Um, can I go out and call home before I think about this?" Maika asked nervously.

The other girls stared at her weirdly wondering what was wrong with her. Didn't she witness more than fifty people just being sent home, just like that? And here she was asking if she could consider the job. Unlike the girls, Ryota thought it was kinda cute for her to not be so formal and afraid of him, "Sure, go ahead."

"Thank you." The girl said showing a sadistic look that gave Ryota the chills again, 'I don't think she's doing it on purpose but it's totally scary.'

"Can we leave then?" The rich girl in the maid uniform asked. She was a beautiful girl with short, straight black hair and blue eyes. Also, a beauty mark under eyes that complimented her looks. Seeing her cold unbothered look Ryota couldn't help but wonder if he was a magnet to all the weird sadistic people in the world.

"Kujo Miyuki, from Kujo family, huh." Ryota looked at her profile, "How come you are here? From what I can see you're from a well off family. And why even train as a maid?"

"Because I wanted to." Miyuki stated coldly, "And does it even matter why I am here?"

"How can you be so rude to Arima-sama." The girl next to her said getting a bit frustrated.

"Except Miyuki-san here, can you all leave." Ryota said with a smile, "I'll handle her myself."

The girls gulped finally getting why he favoured the other girl with that sadistic look, after all, the master himself looked quite scary, to begin with. Bowing down to him the three left without causing any hassle as only Miyuki and Ryota were left.

"I don't like asking the same question again, so please continue," Ryota said laying back.

"Because I am better off this way. Since I have a brother, I am not very likely to inherit my family's wealth and would likely be sent off to marry another man to build my family's connection," Miyuki still remained unfazed by Ryota's staring, "So by being your maid, I want to at least get the right to make my decision myself."

"Interesting!" Ryota nodded with a smile as he walked over towards her patting her head, "I have looked at your qualifications, if only you weren't so cold, you would be a really good maid."

Miyuki didn't say anything but just stare at Ryota with disgust as Maika came back.

"Umm, I am willing to do the job." Maika said but quickly corrected herself, "I mean, If you want me that is. After all, I look really bad with my eyes and have been told it isn't professional and-"

"You're not allowed to regret this after you sign the contract, okay." Ryota cut her off asking the serious question as Maika nodded her head cutely.

"Ok, you're hired then." Ryota said patting her head as he called out to Yu, "Yu, from today onwards these two are my maids."

Yu looked at the girls who were both quite similar in terms of how they looked as she wondered if Ryota had a fetish for lollies.

"But two personal maids..."

"Why not, after all, I have big ambitions and I doubt that only one of them can handle the work I'll give them."

"Do I have no say in this," Miyuki said looking a bit annoyed but Ryota didn't look fazed by it at all.

"Of course not. So remember from today onwards you have no affiliations to your family," he said, "You're only to take orders from me and be loyal, and in return, I'll give you the freedom you so desire. So Miyuki, be my maid alright."

Miyuki didn't say anything but stood there silently and Maika who understood Miyuki's reaction like from one sadist to another smiled looking at the situation.

Yu who was the third party in the situation looked a bit scared of the evil-looking maid duo wondering how she was to report this to Isshin.

"Since I studied abroad, I don't really like formalities." Ryota said, "So I'll just be calling you two Maika and Miyuki from now on. Also, Yu, prepare their contracts and get Maika in training immediately."

"Yes, young master." Yu nodded as she took Maika with her, saying their goodbyes for now. They weren't likely to meet before the announcement, and even in this time, all Yu could teach her were the basics.

"So what do you plan to do now?" Ryota asked Miyuki.

"It's my job to take care of your needs so I'll be following you from now onwards."

"No, I meant to ask shouldn't you go get your stuff and tell your family about this?"

"You don't need to worry about that." Miyuki said, "I'll start my work right away."

Seeing she didn't want to talk Ryota didn't force her as he nodded. "Miyuki, get my suit from the car, I have a meeting to attend to."

Miyuki nodded but she turned around as she was walking away, "Why did you pick both of us, master?"

"Do you want the truth or should I just make up a happy lie?"

"The truth."

"Well, among the candidates, the two of you didn't have any affiliations to Arima family at all, like being in debt or joint business with us." Ryota said, "And also there was the fact that both of you were the least likely to betray me. As they say, loyalty is earned not given, so giving you guys what you want is my first step towards earning your loyalty,"

"So you picked us because it was easy?"

"I wouldn't phrase it that way," Ryota said

Miyuki bowed towards him as she left to go get his suit not saying another word.

So I decided to go with both but since Mayuki was higher she will get to the first introduction and Maika would be properly introduced after the first world.
