"You seem nervous, Master."
"Of course, I am." Ryota said as Miyuki was fixing his tie, "It's my first time coming to a restaurant where a dress-code is required, after all. That damn Hayato never told me his family owned this sort of restaurant."
"They don't literally owe it." Miyuki explained, "They just have major shares in it so they technically only own half of the restaurant."
"And where did you get that information?"
"Yu-san gave it to me," Miyuki said with a distasteful expression, "As your maid, it's my duty to know about your whereabouts and have information on the place you visit."
"Well, that's good and all but can you say it with a more caring expression." Ryota sighed, "So how do I look?"
Miyuki looked at him from head to toe, dressed in navy blue Desmond Merrion suit no one could deny the fact he looked great in it. Young, handsome and especially his golden eyes complimented everything about the outfit.
"You look good and rich enough for an uncrowned prince."
"Uncrowned prince?"
"You still haven't been crowned as the successor after all." Miyuki said, "And no matter how flashy even a real prince is, he is still worthless if he isn't crowned."
"Did you just indirectly called me worthless?" Ryota said with a stoic expression.
"Also there's the fact that you still have a brother, so even if something happens to you, you will soon be forgotten with your brother being the sole heir." Miyuki said ruthlessly, "I heard from Yu-san, that you decided to divide the company in two. Why is that?"
"I don't want to fight family for power."
"Master, excuse my rudeness but that's the dumbest decision you could've made. You should stop being kind and start looking out for yourself better." Miyuki said, "This world is much different after all, especially with your brother around, I can't help but worry that you'll be assassinated the very next second by him."
"That's a weird way to express your concerns." Ryota sighed as he caressed Miyuki's hair, "I don't really regret my past decisions but now I have you to look after me. So please make sure to take care of me also don't hesitate to correct me when I'm wrong or taking a bad step."
Miyuki froze for a second but quickly snapped out of it as she nodded.
"Let's go."
As they entered, Ryota looked around at the luxurious restaurant in wonder. The shiny floor, the handcrafted decor and the bright chandelier gave the restaurant it's a unique look.
"Stop looking around like a little kid." Miyuki reprimanded him, "You're the successor of a company that could buy this restaurant anytime you wanted to, so act like it."
Ryota gulped as he nodded looking straight ahead.
"Excuse me, sir. Do you have a reservation?" The host came forward as he looked over at two of them in a respectful tone, Ryota was about to answer when Miyuki stepped forward.
"My master was invited by Hayama-sama."
The host looked surprised hearing the Hayama family name as he looked over at the guest list, gulping at the name Arima, the host showed a bright smile to them.
"Right this way, Arima-sama." The host bowed, leading them to the second floor.
Seeing the curiosity in Ryota's face the host explained "The first floor of the restaurant is used for normal dining and the second floor for private dining rooms, Arima-sama. I am sure you'll be satisfied with our hospitality."
Ryota just nodded not saying a word. The host stopped at one of the doors knocking on it, "Hayama-sama, your guest Arima-sama has arrived."
"Send him in." The voice came from within.
The host opened the door for Ryota as he walked in with Miyuki and closed the door afterwards.
"All these weird respect people give me would surely take a bit of getting used to."
"Better now than ever." A female voice attracted Ryota's attention, "After all, it will be more so difficult after you've gone public, Ryota or should I call you Arima-sama now?"
"Haru? What are you doing here?"
"I told you, didn't I? Another family would like to join hands with you." Hayato said, "And that's none other than the Yukinoshita family."
Haruno Yukinoshita, the eldest daughter of Yukinoshita family and 'her' big sister.
"Aren't you going to even say hello?" Haruno or as he liked to call her 'Haru' said pouting.
"I don't know if I should be glad or annoyed that you're still the same as ever." Ryota said coming over as he sat next to her, "But it's good to see you again, Haru."
"And who's she? I knew you had a thing for maid girls but I didn't expect you to make your girlfriend walk around in maid clothing." Haru said acting surprised.
"She's my actual personal maid, Miyuki," Ryota said with his lips twitching, "And these two are my old acquaintances."
"How cold of you to call us acquaintances, and here I was waiting on the day you would call me Harucchi." Haru said giving a bigger pout to him, "But I am happy for you that you got exactly the type of maid you like. Even I agree that loli-maids are the best."
Ryota could feel Miyuki's judging eyes as he tried to avoid eye contact with her.
"You should know that I only call my close friends that way, Haru and not the people I like." Ryota said grabbing Haru's hand as he looked deeply into her eyes, "I don't even call you nee-san. So you should know that I see you as a woman and not a friend or an older sister."
"Oh, it's good to see that your flirting skills have increased, but you're still a hundred years away from fooling me with your looks." Haru said, "But me being your first crush, I'll accept your feelings for now, after all, you've grown to be a good looking man."
"Oh so are we dating?"
"I've only accepted your feelings but I never said I'd reciprocate it as well." Haru smiled charmingly.
"If only you'd remove that mask of yours, I'd truly fall for you, you know."
"It's a part of me so if you want me, you should accept me for who I am." Haru said, "After all, isn't having a girlfriend who never gets angry a good thing?"
"An angry girlfriend is less scary than your normal happy girlfriend who already has plotted to murder you." Ryota said, "But who could blame me for falling for such a beautiful face."
"I can't decide if I like the naive you or the current you." Haru said as she kept her hand on her chin, "I'll need time to clearly sort out my feelings, so I hope you'll give me some time."
"Of course, I'll forever be waiting for you."
"You guys do know that I still exist right?" Hayato said looking at them with a tired expression, "Quit your flirting for now and let's discuss about what we really came here for."
"Before that, can we have something to eat." Ryota said as his tummy grumbled, "I haven't eaten anything since lunch break."
