Final preparations pt.2

"Are you sure that's just you want?"

"Don't commit any more crimes that'll cause the attraction of other people." Ryota said, "I'll call you when the time comes."

Ryota didn't bother with them anymore as he went back towards Ryuu and the others.

"Are you okay?"

"I did dodge most of the attacks but I still couldn't block a few." Ryota said showing the bruise on his arms, "Looks like trying to take out 12 people at once was quite cocky of me."

"It indeed was but you didn't have other choice did you?" Raku's dad said, "After your second round, you were already drained so carrying the fight longer would've been more taxing."

"I am glad you get it." Ryota said breathing heavily, "Luckily they were all amateurs with lots of opening, so I could win even with just a few attacks."

'You defeated a gang in just a month after training, what more do you want, you beast.' Ryuu complained in his heart.

But Ryota who had been trained by Michael, the leader of the army of God was still disappointed with his progress. It wasn't that he lacked skill or power, after all, both of it was solved by his perfect copy and physique but what he lacked was the flow of fighting. And there were no shortcuts to it at all, since that flow only came from experience.

Just as they were having a conversation, a BMW coming at full speed stopped next to them, coming out from it was his beautiful maid who rushed towards him with a not so caring expression.

"I leave for a couple of hours and you head off to fight gang members?" Miyuki reprimanded him like a mother checking every part of his body to see if there were any injuries, after finding nothing but a bruise in his right arm she finally looked a little relieved but quickly resumed her cold expression, "Do you have anything to say?"

"I was just playing around, right guys?" Ryota looked beside him to see all of them gone as the car that drove them here drove off quickly, 'Traitors'

"Go on, I am listening."

"To test the limit of my abilities." Ryota spouted the first dialogue that came to his head remembering the Itachi scene from naruto but looking at Miyuki she wasn't too satisfied with the answer, "How did you get here? Wait- don't tell me those guards snitched on me."

Ryota looked around carefully to find a jeep behind the tree a bit far away. "I guess, I need to get a set of my own guards as well."

"Get in." Miyuki said harshly turning back.

"Miyuki, don't be so mad." Ryota hugged her from behind, "I know you care about me but I really needed to this, after all, I can't always be protected by people around me."

Miyuki didn't say much but her body wasn't tensed up letting Ryota finally relax. Though the days they spend were short, they literally spend every moment together. Even when he was in school or he was on a date with Akane, she would always be around him. Not only that, after school Miyuki had started teaching him about etiquette and techniques as well.

Their relation wasn't like a maid and master at all, in fact, Miyuki had started playing a huge role in life. She was like a mother while she took care of him and reprimanded him, she was like a teacher teaching him everything she knew about the high-class society, she was like a friend when Ryota wanted to complain about things as she listened to his problems though she didn't reply much and was like a sweet wife waking him up every morning and cooking him food.

He knew he was getting to attached with Miyuki but he couldn't help it, after all, she too showed genuine care for him.

"How long are you planning on holding me?" Miyuki asked.

"Until you aren't mad at me anymore."

"Let go then," Miyuki said as Ryota happily let her go getting in the car as she began tending to his wound, "As a member of the high-class society, it's not really presentable to be found fighting some street thugs."

"I promise this will be the last time." Ryota said, 'After all, it was a mission from the angel.'

After tending to his wounds Ryota on Miyuki's lap, who didn't complain against his action.

"Miyuki where did you go today?"

"I had an important job to deal with."

"Fine, keep your secrets." Ryota rolled his eyes, "After all, I am the only one here who isn't allowed to keep secrets."

"It's good that you know your situation so well." Miyuki said not giving him any pity.

"I see, that you've completed your task."

"Yes, but defeating more than 20 people, that mission was a bit of stretch wasn't it?" Ryota said, "I am not talking about the difficulty to beat 20 people but find them. But my luck was good and I happened to be at the right place and the right time with Raku's dad helping me."

"Good for you." Michael said not bothering with his complaining, "So with this, you have got two complete days left before you go on your first hunt. And this will also be the last day you see me."

Ryota sighed knowing the time had come.

"So today we won't be training much and instead I'll explain things to you completely. After all, I doubt Lucifer gave you the full details."

Ryota nodded as Michael continued.

"First of all, let me explain about the app on your phone. So the first feature of it is the timer, every mission has different cool-down periods depending on the difficulty of the world you go to, so make sure to keep note of the timer that'll reset after each world you visit. Secondly, the app will collect the core energy from the cores you destroy and once it's collected enough it will give you access to travel any of the previous world you visited or any new world you want to visit without being affected by the timer. So the app is basically your dimension traveling device and also don't worry about losing it, as long as you get a new device the app will automatically be shifted in the new one."

"Then comes about part of the core, with your soul bought back with the sole propose of the mission we have wicked a little part of it. So basically you'll be able to feel the core whenever you're near it. And don't get mistaken, the cores can be in anything, living, dead, non-living things, so make sure to trust your senses."

Ryota nodded.

"So I'll ask you one last question, what do you think will be the most important thing needed for you to complete this mission? Having a team or gaining power for yourself?"

Ryota thought for a while and responded, "If it was in the past, I'd have gone with having more power but being business savvy these days I have learned a few things. So I'll go with having a team, with them I could finish these missions much easily and quickly, after all, there are many of these worlds from what I imagine."

"I accept your decision." Michael said as he snapped his fingers, "Since hell blessed you with those cursed eyes, heaven can't fall behind too far."

Bright warm light surrounded Ryota who was quite taken back. The lights seemingly absorbed into Ryota making him feel warm and comfortable, which was the complete opposite of what he felt when Lucifer gave him his Mystic eyes.

"Though heaven can't really do much, this is the least we can give you."
