Final preparation pt.3

"What is it?" Ryota asked feeling no different at all.

"I've developed your body to match and be suitable for any type of mana and energy."

"Wait so can I use magic?"

"Not quite, you still have to learn how to collect and use them after all and you have to work hard to learn the techniques of using those magic if you want to really use them."

"So it's quite useless then." Ryota sighed not so satisfied with so-called Heaven's gift.

"There's also an ability that you can check right away," Michael said as Ryota felt a sudden sharp pain in his head as the knowledge about the ability rushed into his mind.

Snapping his eyes wide open Ryota looked at the sudden change in scenery. The white void had changed into a beautiful empty garden that looked nearly endless from all sides. The place was none other than his new ability, 'Gate of Babylon.'

"So it's empty huh?" Ryota looked disappointed as Michael appeared beside him.

"Of course it is, I've just granted you this dimensional power so collecting the treasures is your job." Michael said, "And with you traveling across many worlds, I doubt this will be a hard task for you."

"So this is my dimension right?"

"Yes." Michael nodded, "I am sure you know how to use the powers from the information I gave you. So is there any question you want to ask me?"

"There's three of them. One, will me destroying the core affect the source world or the copies of it?"

"No, the world once created can't be destroyed unless it's the god himself doing so. It will just prevent other copies from emerging. So nothing will happen to neither of the worlds except the probability that the source world might not exactly follow the original story."

Ryota nodded, "Second, while I am traveling to the other worlds what will happen to this world, like would the time stop?"

"No, stopping time isn't within our grasp but the time flows differently between the dimensions. So a day you spend in the source world would be a minute in this world. So I suggest being in a secure place before you travel unless you want to shock people with a disappearing act."

"A day is equal to a minute, huh." Ryota nodded, "So my last question is, have you manipulated with my memories? After all, Lucifer told me that he was sending me to a copy world but I can't recognize or remember any of the people except a few."

"Yes we did." Michael nodded without any hesitation, "But don't fret we did just to make your life easier after all, though these people look the same as you remembered in your past life they aren't completely the same people. They have different personalities and ideologies, after all, all it takes is a flap of a butterfly's wings to change the world so with just you being involved in their life is enough to cause huge differences."

"I wasn't complaining, just asking." Ryota said sighing, "I understand, after all, it's better this way with me not knowing what kind of people they were in their respective worlds. Otherwise, I'll just end up judging them from the image I have of them on my head and not who they really are."

"You don't have to worry, the memories of the world you will visit are still within you. And if necessary we might ask you to make some changes in the world but still, remember that your job is just to find the core and destroy it." Michael nodded, "So this is my goodbye young man hope you succ-"

Before Michael could finish his words, Ryota snapped his fingers kicking Michael out of his dimension, after all, this belongs to him now and even an angel wouldn't be able to get in without his permission and he also needed his revenge for all the time he had been kicked out of his by Michael out of his dream world, "I've always wanted to do that."

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ryota woke up ta sweet sensation and a pleasant fragrance as he slowly opened his eyes to see Miyuki beside him.

"Good morning, Ryota-sama."

"Good morning, Miyuki." Ryota smiled, the feeling of being woken up to a sweet beautiful face wasn't so bad after all.

After breakfast, they headed to school, Ryota didn't want to fight neither did he wanted to get involved in anything for the last two days. It wasn't like he was planning on dying but incase anything happened he didn't want to leave the world desperately fighting to the very end.

Before the school ended, Ryota didn't say anything as he gave Akane a deep kiss in front of Raku and Onodera who were both shocked and were blushing to see both of them. Saying their goodbyes, Ryota left with Miyuki heading for Arima mansion instead of his home.

"What's wrong with you?" Miyuki asked, "This isn't like you to be so silent. Do you need some new girls around you or are you just sick? I hope it's the latter."

"Unfortunately it's neither of it." Ryota sighed, "The world's so beautiful, isn't it Miyuki?"

"Stop acting as if you're going to die, Master," Miyuki said, "It doesn't suit you."

"You know just because you add Master at the end of the sentence, it doesn't really make it better." Ryota laughed, "But I'll forgive you, after all, you're still my cute little maid."

Miyuki looked at him with her eyebrows raised wondering what was going on with him.

"I wonder what Maika is doing, right now?" Ryota said, "I am afraid, her training might go to waste."

"She's in the Maid Academy with Yu-san." Miyuki reported, "From what I've heard, other than her stare she's pretty good at her job and is learning quite quickly. So she might be with us right after your announcement party."

Ryota nodded as they reached the Arima mansion.

"Old-man you wanted to see me?" Ryota asked heading in Isshin's office.

"Yes, I've heard about your recent deeds." Isshin said, "I won't ask you to explain yourself but was it really necessary?"

"Yes." Ryota said, "I wanted to seriously fight once in my life, so just consider it a wish-fulfilling task, after all, I wouldn't be allowed to do so after being 'crowned'."

"Sigh! And here I thought it was something serious." Isshin shook his head, "But be careful after all though you might have guards around you, it isn't good for you to take such risks."

"I will make sure of that."

"You have done well for your first meeting, I recently talked with both the Yukinoshita and Hayama family and their proposals is quite good enough for us to accept." Isshin said, "But since it's your deal, I won't interfere with it and it's still your choice to do whatever you want with it."

"Thank you." Ryota nodded quite happy with the outcome.

"So I have something to give you." Isshin said, "It's a tradition in our family to give away an heirloom to the new successor after their first successful deal, so I hope you like it."

Isshin came forward and handed him a katana which had a distinct black and gold scabbard and hilt with a sophisticated design. Ryota unsheathed the sword to see the distinct black colored blade.

"When did we have that tradition?" Ryota asked impressed at the sword.

"From today." Isshin laughed, "I hope you like it. After all, it's one of a kind made after much research and studies from the Muramasa sword smithing style. The blade's much stronger and sharper than any Katana you can find."

Ryota looked at his sword with a happy expression, forgetting his worries.
