The creature pt.2

Ryota gulped looking at the big demonized creature in front of him. Looking at it, it looked awfully similar to the zombies but it was huge. Around 8ft tall and it was buffed up. Ryota quickly snapping out of it began throwing the rocks left in his Gate of Babylon as he took a fighting stance.

The rocks flew towards the creature one after another impaling the creature like a hailstorm of bullets. When suddenly, the creature roared rushing at him.

"So did Bruce Banner become a zombie or are you just a really really big," Ryota commented as he dodged the attacks. The creature's attacks had no specific patterns to them, it was as if just a huge giant monster baby was throwing a tantrum at him. Trying to hit him however possible but its strength couldn't be doubted as it was destroying everything that it hit. He knew if this was outside he would be in a lot of disadvantage against this giant thing and its strength, but luckily he was inside the vault with limited space not allowing the creature to go full berserk on him.

Ryota had another shock of his life when he started seeing the holes made through the giant with his Gate of Babylon, slowly beginning to heal as steam rose up from the wounds.

"I've got to deal with this quick!" Ryota said to himself as he focused his Mystic eyes around the giant and with hundreds of rocks just raining down on the giant from behind him, he rushed towards him, climbing up the monster as he glided his sword through the giant's death line. One final strike and Ryota landed on the ground superhero style as the cut-up giant fell behind him.

Heavy steam emitted the giant as it began shrinking in size, turning into a normal man who had one of his arms missing as he coughed heavily waking up. The wound on his arms was steaming as it began healing, but luckily the arm didn't grow back. The man had barely gained conscience as he started looking around until he felt a cold sword on his neck.

"Better start talking Banner."

"Banner?" The man said looking confused, "What's going on?"

"That's what I would like to ask you," Ryota said not believing his act one bit, "I am sure I heard quite a few people here yesterday, where are they? Did you eat them? And lastly what the fuck are you?"

"Eat? People?" The man looked terrified as his eyes shook here and there until he finally gained a little bit of insight, as he looked at Ryota, "I know, I remember now."

"Go on."

"It was after that thing attacked yesterday. I was in the bank to close my accounts as I was going to leave the country permanently," The man said, "But suddenly the 'thing' came rushing in as it bit into one of the guards and before you know it, one by one the thing started attacking and they began growing in number. The manager of the bank rushed out of his office, asking the people to follow him to the bunker downstairs, as he described that it was created for scenarios like this and we did."

"I think there were 13 of us here but unfortunately one of us was bitten. We obviously didn't know it at first until he began spitting out blood when suddenly one of the men came forward saying he had a cure. He first used his tie to tie the person up to one of the safes along with his legs until the man was fully incapable of moving. We watched as the guy slowly lost the life in his eyes and soon turned into one of those 'things'. The man carried a briefcase with him and in it where different injections neatly fixed on one side and three small bottles of 'the cure'. He had us held him down as he began injecting one of the cures to the thing as it began writhing in pain. Instead of being cured, the thing slowly began dying but before it did, it managed to bite me."

"I along with everyone in the room panicked, even the man looked like he was not able to believe what just happened when he began convincing us that the thing had already died so it couldn't survive the cure, so he wanted to try it on me as quickly as he could before I died from what he called as 'the infection.'" The man said terrified remembering the pain he was in from the bite, "Bu-But I agreed because I didn't want to die. The man injected me too and after that--after that, I blacked out, I don't remember anything after that."

Ryota was confused as he looked at the man who was panicking and sweating wildly on his own. "So a cure that turns into even a bigger threat. How can I belive you're not lying?"

"Check that safe on the corner." He pointed, "The first thing was tied there."

Ryota still keeping his eye on the guy slowly moved backward. The vault was truly large from within and to his surprise, there it was in the corner lying a dead man who looked like an old mummy tied off in several different ties from head to toe.

"It's there ri-right?" The man manically smiled, "I told you I wasn't lying."

"I believe you." Ryota nodded, "I also believe that even this 'man' of yours didn't actually know what would happen when you got injected as I am sure that unless the guy had a deathwish he wouldn't have done so."

"But the cure did work." The man said, "I am completely fine."

'You look far from fine, buddy.' Ryota said to himself looking at the man who kept sweating like Niagra falls, "I see, so where are they? I mean this just can't be the bunker and with no blood here other than yours, I don't think you killed them as well."

"You're standing on top of it." The man said as Ryota looked down his feet noticing two hinges that separated the door from the floor, as it all looked the same. Ryota stood over as he opened the door of the bunker with his katana first until he got a good grip on the door. A staircase that headed down was revealed as he opened the dusty old door.

"I think we should go in and join them." The man said clearly out of his mind, "After all those things might still be out there."

"I think so too." Ryota said coming closer to him, "By the way, one last question. What did the man look like?"

"Tall, I am sure he had a beard and-and yes, he was wearing a suit with that silver briefcase." The man said, "I will introduce you to him, don't worry, so for now let's go."

"I am fine with dealing with those things that are outside." Ryota said, "But I am afraid, that you might be the bigger threat than them."

"What do you mean?"

"I am sorry." Ryota said as he prepared his katana, "But I can't take the chance of you turning into that thing again, and letting you out is the last thing I want."

"Wa-Wait please don't--"

Before he could finish his sentence the man was decapitated as Ryota took a deep breath, he didn't like the fact that he had now killed two men in the span of two days. That was two human life just gone within a flash. Ryota decided not to think about it for now as he headed down towards the bunker but unknown to him someone had been watching the whole thing through the camera inside the vault.

"What is that boy?"

Since the original HSOD didn't have an ending, so I came up with my own to fill the gaps. Since it would be awkward to end this arc without a conclusion. So just pretend this whole thing is canon and this actually happened after the manga ended. I am basically mixing it with a bit of resident evil stuff and a bit of my imagination.
