"They even emptied out the ration supply, huh." Ryota looked around at the messy underground bunker he was under as he checked through all the stuff.
The bunker was basically a paranoid man's wet dream. Several beds, different storage, radio, televisions, water filters, power supplies, etc. Ryota checked around at the weapons they had left out, seeing how old the bunker was, it was safe to say that it was made during the war period. Ryota without hesitation threw the weapons in his Gate of Babylon as he noticed something strange. Three guns were missing from the shelves, as the dust mark gave it away. Followed by much other stuff like ammo and so forth.
Walking in further in doubt, he reached the kitchen area as he checked on the kettle which was still warm. Ryota frowned walking in further as he noticed another set of stairs which led upwards. Climbing up, he removed the door as he looked around to find himself inside outside the bank.
Ryota got out as he headed back towards the Humvee when he noticed the group of men surrounding the car.
Three men were pointing their guns at the Humvee, as the other remaining ones surrounded them with knives and whatever they could arm themselves with.
"Get out!" One of the men shouted pointing his gun towards Shiba who was on the driver's seat, "Hand us the car and we will let you go alive."
"Don't get out." Shiba said to Saeko who was holding Alice, "Fighting them with swords would be pointless, since there are three of them aiming at us. The others don't seem to be carrying any weapons so the best chance we've got is to drive off as quickly as we can, even if we have to run them over."
"That's okay, but looking at them, I don't think they'll hold back until we start the car." Saeko said as she glanced at the men, "They're desperate, so it's not good to provoke them."
"I know, but getting out and leaving the car will still result in our deaths either way," Shiba said, "The way they surrounded us, it seems that some of them might be trained soldiers. I have seen this formation used by them before."
Ryota from afar looked at the situation with a frown as he slowly walked over to them. One of the guys noticed his presence as he pointed his guns towards him. "Leave!"
"Stop shouting will you," Ryota said lazily as he saw a couple of zombies around the gate. He could kill all of them in a single shot but that'll be pointless after all, he still had some questions he wanted to ask so the best he could do was take down the men with guns and immobilizing the others, "Saeko, you should be ready"
"I said leave!" The man shot his gun towards him, barely missing his head by an inch, "You're not lucky. The next shot would be your head."
"What was the world come to. Grown men shooting a young harmless boy." Ryota commented with his hands raised backing a bit further when suddenly several golden ripples opened behind the group and the last bit of rocks he had left were thrown towards the men carrying the guns. As he aimed for their legs and hands. Saeko getting the chance jumped out of the Humvee attacking the remaining group with the katana which still had its sheath on.
Ryota walked over to the men, who were whining as the rock seemed to have impaled and even shot through some of their hands and legs. Without waiting he dumped their weapons into his Gate of Babylon, as he and Shiba who came out of the vehicle checked through all their pockets, taking away all their knives and any weapon-like item they had.
"What the fuck are you?" One of the men asked holding his bleeding hand.
"Are you the guy with the cure?" Ryota ignored the man's question as he asked, seeing the man's panicked expression he got the answer he wanted as he smiled dearly, "Where's the briefcase?"
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"I don't like repeating my words," Ryota said shaking his head as he shot one of the knives right beside the guy's head, "You're not lucky, the next time it will be your head."
Having his dialogue thrown back at him, the man looked a bit bitter but the fear in his eyes was undeniable. He looked at Ryota the same way he would look at those killing zombies. "It's in the underground vault. Safe no. 758. But you should be aware, there's something dangerous in there."
"See that wasn't so hard was it? And as for your 'dangerous thing,' it is already dead." Ryota smiled ignoring the shocked group as he looked over at Saeko and Shiba, "I think I saw some ropes inside the car, so tie them up will you. I'll head back in and get the case and we will leave soon. I am sure the previous gunshot attracted some of them. Also don't hesitate to kill them, if they try anything."
They didn't question Ryota for now as they quickly nodded and began doing as told.
"Are these the keys?" Ryota asked grabbing one of the keys he looted from them.
"It's the master key, it will work on every safe." The man who he presumed was the manager answered as Ryota nodded heading back in the safe.
He ignored the bleeding dead body as he went straight for the safe pulling out the briefcase storing it back in his Gate of Babylon. "I nearly forgot!"
Ryota quickly used the keys to open one safe after another, storing everything that was in them without checking as he rushed out. He dragged the suited man and shoved him inside the Humvee with the help of Shiba.
"What about us?" One of the women in the group said, "Don't leave us here."
"You know if you had asked nicely, I would have considered it," Ryota said walking over to them as he threw one of the knives towards them, "If you manage to survive, make sure to not be so rude next time."
"Arima-kun, let's leave." Shiba didn't complain against his action neither did Saeko as they left the others still tied, with one knife to get out and defend themselves with.
