11 Seals

Angelica smiled and looked at the both of them. She'll really miss them and it's gonna be awhile before she come back here. Right now in her priorities was the witch council and then heading for the next destination for recovery.

She didn't tell them that the arrow the Caleb had shot at her damage pretty well and since she woke up her state was actually more venerable and she couldn't even fix it with magic either. That potion she drank was actually a numbing one so she couldn't feel the pain. The healing potions had no effect when she drank it, so she used raw herbs instead to make a paste. But it slowed down the healing process and her stay here was very well overdue.

What's more was for the fact that she had just successfully broke another seal on her body and her magic had increased a little more than the last time.

But it's still not enough to past either her mother and grandmother. She was in fact very pissed off since in those 8 years she only manage to break 2 and half.

That's progress was so little!!

They where both geniuses and it was already rare enough that she had a talent in magic at a young age. The way they tested young witches was pretty simple, she would be appraised by a 3 elders of the witch council and then later find what she would specialize in. Either in magic or medicine.

But her case was special since when she was young she had actually an abnormal amount of magic in her and her grandmother sealed it away under 9 different patterns. The seal it's self was not visible but if she were to enter water her marking would be seen on her back and her to arms. The seal protected her from self destructing from magic. That's why breaking the seals and taking in new powers were very hard.

Currently she had only broken 5 of the seals and now the other 4 she needed to break could only happen if she went to the a ruin that was fill with ancient magic and also a place that has massive plants growing everywhere.

It the prefect place and who would bother going to a ruin right? They can be scary and you never know what would pop out, so many tend to avoid them. No distraction equal prefect place for her!

There was also some uncertainties that she needed to ask her grandmother for as she was warned about the precautions about removing the last 4.

Her magic mainly revolved around water and wind magic. She could also use other elements but just choose not to.

Coming back from her day dreaming, she mounted herself on top of Helix's back and Harry join after. She looked down At Valeria and Keiran, "This is farewell for now! You can use the water mirror I made last time if you want to communicate with me. Now then Your Majesty, Queen Valeria Crescentia, May you please excuse me. May the whispers of peace keep your heart at bay! So long!" And waved at them.

She patted Helix's head and soon they were moving towards the palace gates. The prince's palace wasn't far from the north gate so she could easily leave.

Valeria looked at them with a small smile. Honestly, this girl had so many thing in her mind but never cared to share them. Even her goodbye sound funny to her and for some reason she couldn't shake off the feeling that something bad was gonna happen.

Like she'll ever see her again.

She stay there for along time before heading back to do her duties.

Aurelian and Del also witnessed the scene of Angelica's departure on her big wolf.

"This girl will get herself killed, if you didn't notice there was a smell of blood from her." Del said Aurelian as they stood on the balcony facing the direction Angelica left.

"She quite the actor! I knew she didn't heal up, but she still insisted to leave. Seriously the dumb witch, will end up with scolding if Valeria found out!" He already knew what Del knew and he couldn't help but feel headache when they talk about Angelica.

"She passed this to you as well. I think she notice that you broke her weapon." Del said.

'And she probably cursed you none stop as well.' But he didn't say that.

"She'll probably curse me none stop for breaking it. I could here it from a mile away!" Aurelian said to him as a small smile graced his face.

Del: "....." did he say that out loud by accident?

Angelica had just arrived at the gates of Crescentia Kingdom. She'll looked back at the scenery behind her. The kingdom and the people. The plants and animals. The kindness and memories. She'll always remember them forever.

They finally stepped out into the wilderness. Crescentia Kingdom was hidden in the northern forest and only allow familiar people to enter and also merchants. Otherwise the woods in the northern forest were full of tricks. The magical creatures in their play many pranks on people and sometimes getting lost was the final outcome.

The only way to come to the kingdom in the first palace was if you had either a fairy light or recognized by the Destiny Tree.

Fairies never liked witches in the first place so, she was instead acknowledged by the tree. What more was also her relationship with the royal family.

Their group had almost made it out of the dark forest. Angelica had already pulled out her map and marked down a few places they need to head to before making it back to Edelweiss Forest.

In total she had to make 5 stops and most of them were towns and two forests along the way. But it just got more complicated from there on.

Since everything changed after her long rest it's actually gonna be a challenge since everything was new. Even Harry and Helix don't know much about the outside world since they stay back to protect her in the library.

She sighed out loud, "This is gonna suck! Who told them to change the world?! Why couldn't they stop time?!" She whined.

Harry who was sitting beside her was speechless. Master, you clearly can't blame the world when you fell asleep by yourself.
