16 You Won’t Mind Them? Right?

The old man was surprised by the guest that it took him sometime to recover his poor heart.

He placed to broom down and came to the back counter, where he warmly smiled at her.

"Morning there lass. I'm Ricky Jon, the owner of this inn and tavern. What can I get'cha?" He asked her.

The old man had a friendly smile and it livened the mood around her. She smiled at the old man, "Morning to you too! I'm An I'm wondering if I could use a room for 3 nights?" She politely asked.

"Sure, sure! No worries we have a few rooms open. Any thing else you would like to know?" Ricky asked her.

"Umm, are pets allowed?" She gave him a timid smile. Most of the time they would reject her right out.

Ricky looked at her. He didn't know why but this lass in front of him, looked familiar but he didn't know where he saw her.

"What type of pets are you bringing in?" He inquired. He already heard the funny tone from her.

"Two baby wolves... You won't mind them? Right..?" Umm, should she really explain here? If she did then it would sound ridiculous!!

Ricky smiles, "Alright no problem! You look trustful so I won't mind it."

Old man your gonna regret what you see!

"Here I'll show you the room first and tell me if it's enough." He had already gotten up and grabbed a pair of keys and started walking towards the staircase on the left side of the room.

Angelica followed him upstairs to the room he wanted to show her. Opening the door, Ricky presented a simple room, that Angelica thought would be big enough for the three of them.

There was a window facing out to the town, a bed in the far most corner with a table near it and a bathroom. The bedroom had everything she needed.

She smiled at him, "I'll take! Thanks so much! Here!" Angelica took out something from her bag and handed it to Ricky.

"This is for the room! Keep the change!" And pulled out 4 gold coins from her pouch.

Ricky's eyes widened at the currency, it was to much for this one room! This much gold could make her stay here for at least a few months.

He panicked, "Lass!! This is too much for the amount of days your staying! This room only costs 20 silver!" And explained to her.

Looking at the old man panicking made her raise her brows. "Ricky don't worry about it! I have so much on me and I really don't mind spending a little more." She gave a warm smile, "And if you still think it too much, just think of it as three people staying in this room and your charging for all three because of the pets I have. Don't worry about it, just keep it." She assured him.

Ricky reluctantly took the money and he could help but smile worriedly at her. Holding that much money is really bad for a lady like her.

"Lass if I were you, I would be careful of the money and things you own." He said in a warning tone.

Angelica's eyebrows raised and was seemingly interested in what he was saying.

"Right now we have Masked Circus in town. So thieves would most likely take the chance to steal some stuff from people. I say lass, you better watch out if your heading to see it." He kindly told her.

"Alright, I will listen to your words. But you don't have to worry as I won't let anyone take my stuff just like that!" She confidently said.

"Now then Ricky, I shall just get my stuff and I'll come back." She said heading some the stair before stopping to look at him one more time, "And don't worry about the money!" And left the old man.

Ricky could only scratch his beard and look helplessly at her. For some reason he felt that this lass was gonna be in trouble.

Angelica had rushed back to the two wolves that were sound asleep just like she left them. Her heart ached when she saw the both of them wounded and most of all regretful for allowing them to be hurt again and again being with her.

She ran her hand thorough Harry's fur and softly told the both of them, "I'm really selfish for holding onto you guys. So please don't leave me alone or my mind will break once again just like the last time."

She patted both of their heads before using magic to lift them back to the inn they booked.

Ricky who was serving meals for some customers was flabbergast by the seen. Didn't she say baby wolves?! Even some customers took a second look at her when she came in.

Angelica gave him a smile before sprinting off to the room. Not letting the old man say anything about her and her two baby wolves.

I told you old man! You'll regret it!

Entering the room she placed both wolves on the bed and soon felt a wave of exhaustion kick in and weakly sat on the chair near the window. As she lazily she stare outside at the town. Shops where opening up and many people started walking out of their house to do shopping or cleaning their cloths in the near by river. It was a nice site. Peaceful and calming. She weakly got off of the chair and decided to wash up before going to sleep.

Laying in bed with the wolves she cuddle closely to them and took in their warmth. Soon enough sleep lulled her in and she fell asleep with her two companies.

Somewhere in the street, a man watched people walking by him. Some even took a second glance at him since they felt distributed by his gawking.

A wicked smile appeared on his face. As he watched the people cluelessly walk around.

"Tonight shall be painted red!" He mused as he walked away from the street and into the darkness where no one could see him.
